I hadn't had it in a while, but whenever I see it, I'm curious and end up buying it.
Lately, many brands have introduced their own versions, making it fun to try them out.
This time, I went to Starbucks Pyeongtaek Vision DT with a friend, and they were selling the Dubai Chewy Roll, so I quickly got one.
On top of that, they had some surprisingly delicious-looking desserts that you wouldn't expect from Starbucks!
This is just a simple, honest review of my personal purchase, and I've noted the locations selling it at the bottom.
It was my first time at the Pyeongtaek Vision DT, and it turned out to be a place where they make their own bakery items.
Perhaps that's why there were so many types of bread, and even around lunchtime, they still had plenty of the Dubai Chewy Roll available.
The Dubai Chewy Roll looks easier to eat compared to the Dubai Cup.
It didn't feel overly packed with kadayif, but was instead filled with pistachio.
I found this packaging sticker interesting; I wondered why such advanced technology was used for the Dubai Chewy Roll.
When I opened it, it wasn't round like kimbap, which surprised both my friend and me.
Still, we carefully cut it in half to taste it.
Oh! It's delicious!
Honestly, I thought it might not be as good as what you'd find at independent cafes, but the chewy texture was surprisingly well-executed, and the filling was nutty and tasty.
Of course, the filling wasn't moist, but it wasn't dry either!
It was just sweet enough and crumbled nicely.
A flavor that won't disappoint!
If you find it at Starbucks, it's worth a try.
That said, you don't have to go to Starbucks just for this.
P.S. I recommend the Starbucks dessert: Cream Brûlée Toast.

It's like pudding and super tasty! It's really sweet, so it's a must-have with iced coffee.
