Reflections on January

From mid-January to February, my blog posts have been a bit delayed.
I went through my own struggles and challenges, and there were moments when I lost motivation.
However, I received a lot of comfort from those who love me and took some time to reflect on myself.
Anyway, let's kick off the rest of January's diary!
I visited a restaurant called "Darohouse" which is next to my office but I had never been there before.
The food felt quite unique overall.
There’s a legend that the seaweed drink actually contains real seaweed.
It tasted good, but I probably wouldn't go back for a second time.
I also went to "Fold Bakery" to enjoy their famous salt bread, though I was too full to eat any myself.
My love, Eunja, brought me a Jutopia keychain as a gift. She's such a sweet girl.
I really went snack crazy in January!
By the way, does anyone know about the iPhone SE? I didn’t buy it; it’s an old one that my sister used to have.
I'm currently borrowing it and using it a lot.
On another note, does anyone know a good place for a perm?
I wonder if the popularity of "Dujjunku" has faded a bit?
There’s a Dujjunku stand right in front of my house. I bought a couple of books from there.
To celebrate Minhee returning to the Hongdae branch, Harim, Minhee, and I had lunch together!
The Shabu Boat was so delicious; I want to go every day!
Make sure to check out our adorable baby tiger at home!
After work, I was kidnapped by Gyeongju to Icheon.
Gyeongju remembered Hyunjeong as the "Dolgoji sister" and recognized the Dolgoji station. It was funny!
I sent a photo to Hyunjeong, but she was still at work.
These days, convenience store desserts seem to have better quality than regular cafe desserts.
Surprisingly, I saw Gyeongju for the first time!
I was so happy that I almost left for Icheon.
I asked for a takeout of marinated crab.
Seeing this makes me crave Jajangmyeon again.
The reason I was kidnapped to Icheon was because of Termeeden.
It wasn’t as big as I expected, and it was really cold that day.
I brought a beach towel and covered myself with it.
But thankfully, neither of us caught a cold!
I love chicken feet, so Gyeongju brought me to a place that serves it.
Look at the color! It looks really spicy.
It was genuinely spicy, and by the end, I was a bit dazed, but it was so delicious. Order less because one serving is quite a lot!
Gyeongju even got a takeout for his mom. Amazing!
The day I met my soulmate Donghee, we went to a cafe and had a great time.
It was my first time at "I Won't Be Forgotten," and their side dishes were delicious.
I drank cola since I can’t drink alcohol anymore.
Snack part two: What’s this? The blessings of snacks never end!
Please stop the feeding!
I absolutely love sundae soup, and this place is a must-try!
It was a day filled with happiness for my mouth, ears, and eyes.
How wonderful it would be if such peaceful days continued!
The day I met Dayoung and Chaewon was amazing!
The kids came all the way to Hapjeong!
It was so nice to see them after a long time, and I can't believe Chaewon is getting married!
But I know she'll be the most beautiful bride, which brings tears to my eyes.
I hope Chaewon's wedding preparations go smoothly.
The day I met Juri and Hyean was funny because we finally met after Juri came back from her honeymoon.
Everyone was so busy that we just met now!
We had a lot of fun eating together, especially at the board game cafe.
We ended January on a high note with two fun incidents!
Even though January seemed uneventful, there were many moments that went unnoticed.
Looking back at my January, I realized it’s never too late to take action on anything that comes to mind.
Let's always stay motivated!
- The End
