Exploring the Top Three Dishes at Sato Gyukatsu in Gwangjin

Recently, I finally visited the much-talked-about 'Sato Gyukatsu Gwangjin Branch' that I've seen a lot on social media.
I was curious about how their tonkatsu and gyukatsu would taste and how unique combinations like curry udon would turn out.
As a food blogger, this was a must-visit place for me.
So, shall we embark on a delicious journey at Sato Gyukatsu?
1. What’s the difference between Tonkatsu and Gyukatsu?
In fact, while tonkatsu and gyukatsu may seem similar, there are distinct differences.
The gyukatsu at Sato Gyukatsu is not just any gyukatsu; it’s a fantastic combination of juicy meat on the inside and crispy on the outside! The first bite reveals the meat's juiciness and the clean batter is simply amazing.
As I savored the flavor, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Ah, this is gyukatsu!"
2. The Meeting of Curry and Udon
I enjoy curry, but this was my first time trying it with udon.
When the vibrant curry udon arrived, I was captivated by its visual appeal! The thick udon noodles paired with rich curry broth completely won me over.
Taking a bite of the noodles, the chewy, nutty flavor harmonized beautifully with the spicy curry, making it incredibly delicious.
This combination is a hit!
3. The Aftertaste of Dessert
As the meal was winding down, I ordered a custard pudding for dessert.
The savory sweetness paired perfectly with the meal! Wow, is there such a delicious pudding? Its soft and creamy texture melts in your mouth.
The combination with the sauce at the bottom is simply fantastic!
The overall dining experience at Sato Gyukatsu Gwangjin Branch was truly delightful and enjoyable.
I was full from the delicious food, and the atmosphere was really nice.
My emotions felt saturated, and it was as if my hungry brain was stimulated again! You should definitely visit!
You will have a wonderful time with delicious food!
