Experience Shabu-O in Apgujeong

A perfect spot for dates

Address: 23 Dosan-daero 49-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (near Apgujeong Rodeo Station)

Parking: Valet parking available (inquire on-site or at the time of reservation)

Operating Hours: Daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM (break time from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

Apgujeong Rodeo is filled with various dining options, but Shabu-O has become a favorite of mine lately!

Unlike typical shabu-shabu restaurants, Shabu-O offers a unique individual shabu style, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or solo dining.

The restaurant has a clean and inviting atmosphere, and we made a reservation via Catch Table, which allowed us to skip the wait.

Inside, the ambiance is sophisticated, with neatly arranged tables and warm lighting, giving a sense of being well taken care of from the moment you step in.

Compared to other shabu-shabu places in Apgujeong, the decor feels quite upscale, making it suitable for lunch gatherings or small meetings.

Dining with my husband early in the evening at Shabu-O was delightful, as it offered a clean and pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant's vibe is perfect for creating a romantic atmosphere.

Shabu-O offers five types of broth, including spicy, mala, bisque (seafood), and sukiyaki, along with a variety of meat options.

The sukiyaki broth, with its perfect blend of sweetness and umami, provides a unique flavor experience.

The individual meals come with neatly presented side dishes and sauces, enhancing the overall experience.

The quality of the meat was impressive, thinly sliced for tenderness and almost free from any off-flavors.

The combination of the meat's richness and the clean broth made for a delightful taste.

After finishing the main shabu ingredients, you can choose from various options for a final meal, like porridge, noodles, or soba.

I opted for soba and porridge, which paired wonderfully with the broth, leaving me satisfied until the very end.

After the meal, taking a stroll around Apgujeong Rodeo or visiting nearby cafes is a great way to round off the day.

Shabu-O is conveniently located among many dining and cafe options, making it easy to continue your day with shopping or a date.
