Delicious Treats at Biwon Rice Cake Shop

As soon as I took a bite, it was so delicious that my eyes widened.
This is a tasting review of the Pine Nut Songi and Thick Injeolmi.
Biwon Rice Cake Shop has been a beloved establishment since 1949,
continuing its legacy for over 70 years.
It's more than just a rice cake shop; it's a cultural heritage.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Anguk Station Exit 2.
The exterior is a clean, white-toned brick design.
Though it's a rice cake shop, it has a sophisticated and stylish appearance.
The walls are adorned with numerous certifications that attest to its history.
• Long-lasting shop: Certified by Seoul as a traditional store passed down through generations.
• Seoul Future Heritage: Recognized as a valuable asset of our generation.
• Blue Ribbon Survey: Typically, only fine dining establishments receive two blue ribbons,
but this place has earned two! Wow...
• Recommended by the Demand Gourmet and Master of Life: You can trust it!
Next to the entrance, there are posters of their signature Thick Rice Cake and Pine Nut Songi.
The number of blue ribbons is impressive!
I wonder how many years they have received these recognitions.
Biwon Rice Cake Shop prides itself on making rice cakes by hand,
using only top-quality domestic ingredients without machines.
They adhere to a principle of producing and selling fresh rice cakes daily.
They offer Thick Rice Cake (4,000 KRW), Thick Injeolmi (2,500 KRW),
Sweet Rice Cake (3,000 KRW), and Yellow Bean Crumb Songi (2,500 KRW).
Some items were already sold out.
I actually discovered this place by chance,
so I only bought the Thick Injeolmi and Pine Nut Songi.
As my child wanted to try some while walking,
we shared it and I immediately regretted not buying more!
Having visited Anguk Station often,
I wondered why I only now found this gem.
Why did I only buy two?
It's hard to achieve sophistication and great taste,
but they manage to do both!
As soon as I took a bite, it was so delicious that my eyes widened!
All three of us have different tastes,
but everyone—my child, my husband, and I—agreed: "Ah... it's delicious..."
From now on, whenever I go to Anguk Station,
I will definitely buy from here every time.
I wanted to grab the foreign tourists passing by and tell them,
"Our traditional desserts are this delicious; you must try them!"
