Delicious Moments: A Culinary Journey

I've accumulated a lot of food photos lately.
As a result, I seem to be sharing my 'home-cooked daily life' the most.
In fact, today's post might be more fittingly titled 'eating out daily life,' but as long as I'm enjoying my meals, that's what matters!
Hyundai Connect's Dae-sot Restaurant
This restaurant has become a favorite for our couple since Hyundai Connect opened, although we've had a few failed attempts due to mismatched meal times.
However, I remember the owner smiling and saying they would serve us delicious food next time, so we went back, and it truly did not disappoint.
There were many delicious side dishes, and they even offered us refills of the stir-fried pork, leaving us completely satisfied.
It's definitely my number one recommendation for dining in Hyundai Connect!
Morning Run and McDonald's Deluxe Breakfast
One morning after a run, I craved a McDonald's breakfast so much that I ran 6 km just to pick it up.
My favorite is the breakfast set! Making pancakes at home just doesn't taste the same.
It was chilly, and I ended up feeling stuffed.
Shrimp Open Sandwich and Assorted Fruits
This breakfast spread satisfied both my and my partner's tastes perfectly.
Feeling a bit hungry after just eating fruits, I made an open sandwich using rye dough topped with scrambled eggs and shrimp.
The persimmons, shine muscat grapes, and kiwis were all packed by my partner as convenient meals from work!
It seems like I haven't bought fruits in a while.
Pohang Restaurant's Squid Salad
I usually don't buy meal kits, but after watching a YouTube video by a director, I was suddenly craving it.
When I expressed my desire to my partner, he offered to buy it for us! We shared one meal together, but I ended up eating the rest bit by bit, which made him a bit sad.
The flat dumplings were surprisingly good, but my partner commented that I could probably make it better, so I didn't repurchase it.
One-Pot Pasta
On days when I don't feel like cooking, I often make pasta by just boiling noodles.
I prefer flat noodles, so I usually buy fettuccine and top it with whatever I feel like that day!
Recently, I followed a recipe from a YouTube chef and made a dish with cabbage, bacon, and shrimp, using oyster sauce and mayonnaise.
It was a bit salty and sweet for my taste, so I probably won't make it again. I think I prefer a creamy pasta with milk and cheese.
Gatherings with Friends
During the times when the weather wasn't too cold, I had many gatherings with friends.
Due to realistic issues like marriage and parenting, it's become harder to meet up, which is a bit disappointing, but even after a long time, we always have plenty to talk about and have fun.
Lunch Date with A-Rong
One weekday, I left work early for a lunch date with A-Rong at Mizuiro, a restaurant I really love.
We both adore sashimi and sushi, and it's hard to believe how much we used to spend at izakayas five years ago.
A-Rong introduced me to a beautiful café whose name I can’t remember, where we had fig waffles and coffee that were absolutely delicious.
A-Rong is a truly supportive friend who celebrates both good and bad times with sincerity, and I’m always grateful for that.
When I start parenting, you’ll be the first person I call!
Here are some recent food posts I’ve compiled.
