I recently visited Conté de Tullea after a long time. This cafe, located in Apgujeong Rodeo, has been popular for years and continues to attract many visitors.
The ambiance here is quite nice, making it a favorite spot for foreign tourists, especially those from Japan.
The cafe has transformed a standalone house, beautifully decorated according to seasonal themes, which keeps it in high demand. It often has a waiting line, regardless of the day of the week.
When I visited recently in December, they had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, which really set the holiday mood. Despite the buzz about not feeling the year-end spirit, I certainly felt it here.
The cafe features outdoor tables on the terrace, and since it wasn't too cold that day, some guests chose to sit outside.
With Christmas decorations scattered throughout, it's a delightful place to visit any time of the year.
On that day, I was lucky to find only a couple of teams ahead of me, so I had a brief wait before entering.
The interior of Conté de Tullea is decorated with soft, plush-like objects in white, green, and red, giving off a Christmas vibe. While it might seem a bit overwhelming, the high ceilings and the terrace inside provide a pleasant sense of openness.
The seating mainly consists of two and four-person tables, and the Christmas decorations add to the festive atmosphere.
The cafe also has a unisex restroom that smells lovely.
Conté de Tullea serves brunch alongside its cafe offerings, with a variety of simple dishes like toast, pasta, fried rice, salads, and soups. They also have drinks, including coffee and wine, perfect for setting the mood.
The desserts are beautifully presented, making them perfect for Instagram photos.
Their signature dish, the chocolate mousse, is sweet and creamy, reminiscent of a soft brownie, and pairs well with the white cream on top.
My companion ordered the apple cinnamon tea, which was visually stunning and reportedly delicious, though it was priced at 8,500 KRW.
The latte here is rich yet smooth, not bitter, and incredibly tasty. I enjoyed a warm latte to the last drop.
After nearly five years, my visit to Conté de Tullea in Apgujeong Rodeo reminded me that this cafe still offers a charming atmosphere and delightful experience.
If you're looking for a Christmas vibe in Apgujeong Rodeo, this is definitely the place to try!
