Café Aoo: A Scenic Retreat in Jeju

Hello, this is Kkushuleng.
As you travel along the coastal road in Seongsan, Jeju, you'll come across a large ocean-view café called 'Café Aoo'.
This café has won architectural awards for its stylish space and impressive open sea views.
Let’s take a moment to relax and enjoy the ambiance.
Location
Opening Hours
Daily from 09:00 to 18:30
Last order at 18:00
Parking Information
There is a spacious, dedicated parking lot available for free next to and in front of the café.
Exterior & Interior
The café features a sophisticated exterior that harmonizes Jeju's basalt stone walls with modern concrete structures.
The first floor offers a garden-like outdoor area, while the main café space is located on the second floor.
Every corner of the café is a photo spot, allowing you to understand why it received architectural recognition.
The clean and modern style in white and black tones is visually appealing.
Through the large front windows, the panoramic view of Seongsan sea unfolds, allowing you to enjoy the scenery from any seat.
There are spacious sofa seats for families and ample tables for groups, providing a comfortable atmosphere.
While you might primarily visit tourist attractions in Jeju, I recommend taking a break in this pleasant café.
Menu
Prices at large cafés in tourist areas tend to be high.
Since I’m here, I decided to order a signature drink.
I chose 'Iced Americano' and 'Oldie Cinnamon'.
The dessert lineup is impressive, but I didn’t order any this time.
The Iced Americano has a smooth flavor without strong acidity, featuring a rich and nutty body that is enjoyable for everyone.
The Oldie Cinnamon is based on vanilla bean latte, topped with cinnamon powder and ice cream.
The sweet creaminess is complemented by the spicy aroma of cinnamon, creating a deep and rich flavor.
Café Aoo is a place where the view is everything.
It’s a beautiful building, making it a perfect spot for photos.
Although the prices are on the higher side due to its tourist location, sitting by the window and enjoying the view can help relieve stress.
Here are some beautiful images from my visit:
