It's been a while since I last visited my blog.

After a period without any special events, I ran out of topics to write about.

Time slipped away as I indulged in laziness.

Moreover, I started a new hobby...

I tried my hand at pen drawing.

To be honest, I don't particularly enjoy drawing.

However, pen drawing is convenient, so I decided to give it a try.

At my age, I should be getting rid of unnecessary items,

but I dislike creating things and prefer activities that don't leave behind physical remnants, like exercising, playing instruments, dancing, listening to music, and watching performances.

I think many older folks might share the same sentiment, haha.

Additionally, I've been learning to create YouTube videos using AI.

Anyway, I’ve finally decided to put writing back on my agenda today.

Looking at my photo materials,

I thought I had already posted them, but it turns out I hadn't.

After the first snowfall, I started my walk at Dongdaemun and strolled along Hanyangdoseong.

It’s a path that goes up from Dongdaemun, and I planned to descend towards Daehangno.

It was the day I was meeting up with my college friends.

Even after a long time, meeting school friends always feels like we just saw each other yesterday.

One thing I've noticed is that friends from work tend to maintain boundaries,

while school friends often cross those lines.

They speak without hesitation, which can be a bit precarious, haha.

The red fruits of the Cornelian cherry looked beautiful in winter.

I also saw many pigeons around Dongdaemun.

Last year, I noticed that in spring, when food is scarce,

the birds pick all those fruits to eat.

It seems there are still plenty of food sources for them now.

The lush reeds along the path to the fortress add to the charm of the walk.

Next to the fortress path, there are naturally hilly neighborhoods.

It must have been tough for the locals back in the day.

Occasionally, I spotted some lovely cafes,

and famous photo spots were also visible.

A well-crafted snowman brought us joy.

It was beautifully made.

The snowman and the hillside of Changsin-dong...

There's a story behind it.

A friend of mine lives just below the fortress (probably less than 100 meters away).

Friends often meddle in each other's affairs...

They cross boundaries and end up cutting ties, which is sad.

We often remind each other to respect that people don't change and to avoid being overly nosy.

I hope you all get along well with your friends.

In the distance, you can see the buildings of Changsin-dong and Dongdaemun.

To defend against enemies, it was advantageous to build fortresses on mountains.

Climbing the snow-covered paths was tough, but I got a good workout, haha.

As we descended towards Daehangno with my friends,

we enjoyed a hearty lunch,

and after chatting at a cafe, I headed home.

Gatherings with friends are always enjoyable, but they can also be exhausting.

Nevertheless, these are friends I meet three times a year,

and I had a great time catching up.

That’s all for today...

See you in the next episode~~~
