A Unique Date Experience at Flavi Hyehwa

Hello, this is Jeong! :-)
My boyfriend and I have been together for five years, and we've tried nearly every type of date imaginable.
We've traveled, watched movies, and even sought out the best cinemas and escape rooms. While I love seeing his face, sometimes we crave unique date ideas.
This time, we visited the Hyehwa Workshop for a special date!
Many people might already know about the Jongno Perfume Workshop, but we went to the Flavi Hyehwa location.
To get there, exit at Hyehwa Station (Line 4) from Exit 2. Walk straight towards the alley by Starbucks, passing many theaters, and continue until you see the Beur Beur store on your left. Turn into the alley between the two stores.
You can also search for Flavi Hyehwa on Naver Maps for easier navigation!
We made a reservation for the Hyehwa One-Day Class in advance and arrived just in time after work.
Note that from 6 PM to 7 PM is break time, so the experience starts at 7 PM.
We arrived around 6:57 PM and saw another couple waiting as well.
The shop has a charming and vintage vibe, making it stand out among nearby restaurants.
At Flavi Hyehwa, you can create bracelets like we did, but you can also make necklaces, rings, and even room fragrances.
Personally, I found the finished products very attractive and beautiful!
If you're not good with crafts, you can always share the finished products instead of making them yourselves.
The Hyehwa Perfume Workshop also operates a café, so you can enjoy a coffee or tea while taking your time with the experience.
Once inside, the owner checks your reservation and takes you to the experience area.
In the experience room, you can choose your preferred spot to sit, as there are no assigned tables.
We got to pick the best spot since we arrived early!
Each seat has all the necessary materials for the bracelet-making experience, including pliers, rings, small scissors, and glue.
After choosing our chains and pendants, we set up our bracelets. The process was straightforward, and even someone with no prior experience could manage it!
We spent about an hour making our bracelets, and my boyfriend, who loves perfumes, suggested we return to create our own fragrances next time.
Overall, Flavi Hyehwa offers a meaningful way to create personalized couple items while allowing for individual tastes.
After our experience, we received beautifully packaged bracelets designed for our birth months.
If you’re not a fan of bracelets, consider making rings or necklaces instead!
