A Review of the Louis Buffet Wedding Hall

Introducing Direct Wedding Preparation
I have written this with points provided to purchase wedding supplies (bouquets, traditional Korean wedding items, etc.).
Finally, this is the last post about the Louis Buffet in Jung-gu.
Known as a buffet hotspot, "Louis Buffet" offers a great dining experience.
For us, it has a great location, a beautiful venue, and delicious buffet options.
Aside from the outdated lobby and the 70-minute ceremony duration, I think it’s the best choice.
The buffet is located on the 8th floor, while the ceremony hall is on the 18th floor.
With over 150 different dishes available, this buffet truly has a lot to offer.
The seating arrangement is based on the order of ceremonies, for example:
11:00 ceremony - left side
12:20 ceremony - right side
1:10 ceremony - left side
The view from the 8th floor is decent, showcasing a nice city view.
With 150 dishes including Korean, Japanese, Chinese cuisines, salads, live stations, and desserts, it certainly deserves to be called "Louis Buffet".
The most popular dishes are:
1. Galbitang (beef rib soup)
2. Steak
These two are must-try items.
During the tasting, I promised myself to try them.
There are also plenty of beverages available.
However, there is no wine.
It’s said that you can have a food tour about two months before the wedding, which is exciting.
Since the banquet hall is spacious, you don’t have to worry about seating.
They offer various drinks like makgeolli, soju, and beer, but the absence of wine was a bit disappointing.
One of my concerns during the tour was the crowd.
With ceremonies every 70 minutes, I expect it to be quite hectic with many guests.
With both sides having many relatives attending, I worry if the lobby can accommodate them.
This is my biggest concern.
Even if the ceremony lasts only 20 minutes, I wonder if everything can be wrapped up smoothly, especially since the rehearsal is on the same day and the bride won’t participate.
That was shocking.
"Isn't the virgin road walk supposed to include both mothers and the bride and groom?"
Every time I tour the ceremony hall, I notice both pros and cons.
Advantages:
1. 8m ceiling height / 18m virgin road length
2. A renowned buffet venue
3. Close proximity to Seoul Station, great for guests coming from afar
Disadvantages:
1. Limited visibility due to lobby columns
2. Outdated lobby
3. Complicated flow due to 70-minute ceremony intervals
