A Relaxing Stroll and Coffee Break in Jeongdong, Seoul
대한민국 서울특별시 중구 정동 정동길 17

Enjoyed a weekend stroll around Deoksugung Palace.
The autumn leaves were falling in the breeze along the Deoksugung Stone Wall Path.
After a meal with family at Hanamjeong Jeongdong, we visited Coffee Russo, a cafe with a classic exterior on the beautifully lit Jeongdong Street.
The interior is spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
The cafe has two floors, but the second floor, with its comfortable tables and seating, closed at 7 PM, so we settled on the first floor.
Coffee Russo Jeongdong is located at 1st floor, 17, Jeongdong-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul.
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with brunch hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
It's easily accessible by walking along the Deoksugung Stone Wall Path.
Directions:
- From Seodaemun Station (approx. 10-minute walk): Take Exit 5, walk straight for about 250m, then turn into the alley towards the Kyunghyang Shinmun building at Jeongdong intersection, walk straight for about 80m, and cross the street to the left.
- From City Hall Station (approx. 10-minute walk): Take Exit 2 towards Deoksugung Palace. Walk straight along the stone wall path to the right of Deoksugung, cross the street at the intersection, and continue straight for about 300m.
The cafe is on the 1st floor of the red brick building next to the Canadian Embassy.
We ordered an Americano, a cappuccino, and an Orange Flow.
The staff recommended drinking the first third of the Orange Flow without stirring, then stirring the rest.
The combination of orange and coffee aromas creates a subtle and delightful taste.
I usually just have Americano, but today I enjoyed a coffee with a refreshing fruity scent.
It was a delightful date at Coffee Russo on Jeongdong Street, enjoying a rich and flavorful coffee.
Soon, the Deoksugung Stone Wall Path will be filled with yellow ginkgo leaves.
I should come back for brunch, as they have a variety of options.
