A Delightful Experience at NaWon Hwae Pocha

I'm excited to share a place where I had an amazing meal! NaWon Hwae Pocha in Seogwipo truly surprised me with its taste and freshness. This place is well-known as a must-visit restaurant in Jeju, and I had been eager to try it. Sometimes, when visiting sashimi restaurants, I’ve been disappointed by the freshness, but NaWon Hwae Pocha alleviated all my concerns. I was able to enjoy a feast of fresh seafood.
Upon ordering, they mentioned it might take some time to prepare, but I was more than willing to wait for the sake of freshness. The mackerel sashimi had no fishy smell at all, and its rich flavor blended perfectly in my mouth. The portions were generous, making it great for sharing among several people. That day, I went with local friends, and they loved it too. I thought it would be a perfect spot for gatherings or company dinners.
Located near Jeongbang Waterfall, it’s also a wonderful place for a date. We arrived early, parked at the Seogwipo Citizen Center, and took a leisurely walk. The winter breeze was refreshing. I thought we might need dessert, but after enjoying the sashimi and seafood, we felt satisfied without it! They also offer takeout, which is a nice option for enjoying a meal with family at home.
The interior was very comfortable and cozy, creating an ideal atmosphere for dining. It was perfect for having a drink and chatting. They open at 5 PM, with last orders taken until 10 PM, so there’s no rush to enjoy dinner. They even allow takeout until 11 PM, so if you have time, I recommend getting a takeout to enjoy at a nearby accommodation.
I’m really glad to share my special experience at NaWon Hwae Pocha. I’ll definitely visit again! The delicious stories will continue, and I’ll bring more information in my next post.
Here are some memorable moments from my visit:
