Hello! This is the Community Center Director :)

I'm back with a daily life post after a while.

Recently, I watched Moulin Rouge and visited a cafe with delicious desserts.

Let me share my experiences!

Cake Gallery (Hangangjin Station)

A great place to spend time before a musical

I headed to Hangangjin Station to see Moulin Rouge, and since I had some time and was thirsty,

I spent some time at a cafe called Cake Gallery :)

When you come out of Exit 2 of Hangangjin Station,

you will see the way to Blue Square :)

If you head this way,

ta-da! Cake Gallery appears :)

Let's go inside!

Here's the interior of Cake Gallery.

It's not super spacious, but there are quite a few seats available.

Here's the drink menu at Cake Gallery.

Wow, there are so many options!

It's a small but strong cafe :)

They also have a variety of pastries.

They even sell Doujeonku, haha.

However, since I had just eaten and only had about 30 minutes to spare,

I simply ordered a latte :)

Here comes the latte...

I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was!

If you're in the area and have some time before the musical,

I recommend spending it at Cake Gallery :)

Moulin Rouge

I went to see Lee Seok-hoon and was surprised by Kim Ji-woo.

With little time left before the musical started,

I left the cafe and headed to Blue Square!

Moulin Rouge..!

Actually, I watched this musical because my sister wanted to see it :)

After picking up my mobile reservation tickets,

(it was really expensive...)

I took some photos at the photo zone.

Here's the casting for the day I watched :)

I had to book for this day since it was the only available time,

and it turned out to be the day Lee Seok-hoon was performing?!?

I was so excited for the musical :)

It lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes with a 20-minute intermission.

The lighting was spectacular compared to other musicals!

The story was fun, and the acting was great.

Honestly, I went in expecting Lee Seok-hoon, but Kim Ji-woo was amazing!!!

Her singing was powerful, and her acting was top-notch!

This musical was carried by Kim Ji-woo!

Overall, it was a fantastic experience :)

Fashion Five

A cafe recommendation near Hangangjin

I had plans in Itaewon later that evening,

so I stopped by another cafe since I had some time to kill :)

This is Fashion Five, which my sister wanted to visit!

It took less than 2 minutes to walk from Hangangjin Station.

It's super close!

I didn't know there was a cafe street nearby!

I should check it out later :)

The decor has a modern art vibe.

The entrance looks fancy.

Just enter through the entrance :)

It's composed of four floors, and Fashion Five is on the first floor.

I heard you can have meals on the other floors :)

When you walk in, you see the shop.

It seems to operate from 7:30 AM to 10 PM!

Look at the variety of desserts at Fashion Five.. wow!

There are so many types of bread and cookies!

Choosing would take months, haha!

They have trendy Dubai-style pastries, éclairs, tarts, puddings, biscuits, and more.

It was so diverse that it was hard to choose ㅠㅠ

(Everything looked delicious..)

The cakes looked amazing, but the prices were shocking.. haha!

I will come back to buy a cake when I'm ready!

There weren't many seats available at Fashion Five.

While they had a variety of pastries, seating options were limited.

Anyway, we just sat anywhere and enjoyed our desserts :)

Ta-da! Here are the pudding and croissant we bought!

Dubai-style croissant 11,900 KRW

Fashion pudding 5,100 KRW

Fashion strawberry pudding 5,100 KRW

The fashion pudding was super sweet and creamy!

One downside was that the spoon was almost the same size as the bottle opening, making it a bit tricky to eat.. haha!

It was slightly inconvenient, but it was so tasty that it was worth it!

This is the strawberry pudding!

It was good, but the original flavor was still the best :)

(The strawberry syrup flavor was a bit overpowering!)

Dubai-style croissant!

Wow, it was incredibly delicious!

The croissant was so flaky and soft,

and the kadaif was perfectly crispy!

Dubai desserts are trending these days,

but this one was exceptional!

It was delicious :)

Overall, the musical was fantastic, and the cafes were great!

I'll bring more fun stories next time!
