Seobinggo is known for its homemade red bean dishes, offering a healthy taste with reasonable prices for items like patbingsu (shaved ice with red beans) and pumpkin porridge.
Today, I visited Seobinggo, a popular dessert spot near Busan National University. After having lunch with my son, we were excited to try their famous patbingsu.
The café has a warm and cozy atmosphere, with an outdoor terrace that makes it a perfect spot to revisit in the spring. The spacious table arrangements provide a nice setting for a date, and we were welcomed warmly by the friendly staff.
The outdoor terrace is charming, especially with evening lighting, enhancing the ambiance.
Seobinggo offers a range of patbingsu options, from traditional to matcha, all made with trusted organic ingredients. The seasonal pumpkin porridge is also quite popular, made with ripe and sweet pumpkins, available from October to May.
We ordered the signature patbingsu, pumpkin porridge, and a warm cup of coffee. Even after lunch hours, the café was bustling with customers, a testament to its popularity.
When our patbingsu arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The rich flavor and beautiful presentation made it a standout dessert. My son was equally impressed, declaring it the best patbingsu he has ever had.
It was amazing to find that the delicious red beans are available for unlimited refills! Seobinggo also offers takeout, and many customers were seen picking up their orders.
Next came the pumpkin porridge. I have loved pumpkin porridge since childhood, and this one did not disappoint. The taste was reminiscent of my mother's recipe, with a deep flavor that highlighted the natural ingredients.
If you enjoy pumpkin porridge, I highly recommend trying it at Seobinggo. It truly deserves the title of the best pumpkin porridge place in Busan!
The coffee was surprisingly rich and flavorful. I usually prefer my coffee weak, but Seobinggo's blend was perfectly balanced, leaving a lasting impression.
After finishing our meal, we simply returned our empty containers to the designated area. My visit to Seobinggo was delightful, and I plan to return before May to enjoy the seasonal sweet red bean porridge and pumpkin porridge again.
