Yanghwa Hangang Swimming Pool: A Budget-Friendly and Kid-Friendly Summer Escape!

Hello everyone! It's Yuttosi here! π
This summer, I want to introduce a swimming pool that I visited with my baby. It's both affordable and has great facilities!
It's Yanghwa Hangang Swimming Pool!
This pool was so good, it put my baby down for a 4-hour nap, so I just had to write a review! π
Sunbeds are available for rent at β©10,000 each.
The entrance fee is β©3,000 for adults.
Admission is free for children under 6 years old (proof of age required).
We were three adults, so we paid β©9,000 to enter!
You can find a spot under the parasols.
When I visited, there was no sun, so the parasols weren't really necessary. π
The changing room at Yanghwa Hangang Swimming Pool has a really strong air conditioner, so it was freezing when I went in wet! π
(I quickly dried off and changed clothes. I showered at home.)
Hangang swimming pools have strict rules about bringing outside food.
We intentionally ate before coming, but they seemed to sell simple ramen, snacks, and hot dogs!
On a sunny day, I think the parasol and sunbed spots would be sold out quickly (first-come, first-served).
There are 45-minute swim sessions followed by 15-minute breaks.
Lunch break is from 12 PM to 1 PM.
I loved that it was so organized!
They don't really check your food when you enter, but the staff walk around during break times and lunch break, and if they find prohibited food, you'll be asked to leave.
It was my baby's first time at a large swimming pool, and they were so excited!
Dad and baby went in at first, but they said baby needed to wear a swim cap.
During the swim, baby kept trying to lie down as if sleepy, so we played hard for 45 minutes and then went home. They took a 4-hour nap afterwards, so I was able to relax for the first time in a while! π
On our trip to Seoul, my baby napped so well, so I realized that swimming is a must!
Because it's budget-friendly, I recommend arriving at the opening time to secure a spot.
Play hard until the 12 PM break, then eat lunch and go home. It's a great routine for kids!
