Lydar Running Sunglasses FEVER

Lydar Seobinggo Store

Running the same route every day can get boring, and with a half marathon coming up next Sunday, I wanted to do a long run beforehand to boost my confidence. So, my husband and I decided to run 15km along the Han River. Running along the Han River is great because of the nice course, the fun of running in the city, and the motivation you get from seeing so many other runners. And while we were heading into Seoul, we also decided to check out Lydar sunglasses.

I visited a Lydar sunglass pop-up store at the Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo before. I remember going there to buy sunglasses but only ending up buying socks. 😅

I wanted to buy the FEVER model back then, but it didn't suit my face as much as I thought it would. But I decided to try it on again this time.

I was sad that all the pop-up stores at Hyundai Department Store were gone and there were no more stores, but then one opened in Apgujeong, and another in Yongsan.

Since we could look at running sunglasses and then go for a run along the Han River right away, we visited the Lydar Seobinggo store.

The Seobinggo store operates as a cafe on the first floor and a shop on the basement floor. It's known as a mecca for runners.

The Lydar Seobinggo store was bigger than I expected.

Lydar sunglasses are known as affordable sunglasses. So, while some people buy them as running sunglasses like us, I know many others buy them simply as fashion sunglasses. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, so there were a few people, but there were multiple sunglasses of the same design on display, so there was no problem trying them on.

Lydar Sunglasses JOG

Lydar Sunglasses FEVER

This model is probably the most famous Lydar sunglasses. I tried it on again this time because the design is pretty, but it still didn't suit me. 😅

Lydar sunglasses allow you to adjust the nose pad height, but... when I, who doesn't have a high nose bridge, wear them, they just feel like goggles.

Lydar Sunglasses ELITE

The ELITE sunglasses suited me better than the FEVER.

The design looks like typical sports sunglasses, but they are lightweight and felt more stable when I wore them.

(Come to think of it, I think I was told that this product suited me better than the FEVER at the Pangyo department store pop-up too)

My husband also said that this design suited me better and told me to buy it, but I hesitated and ended up empty-handed. 😅

I thought the design was too similar to the running sunglasses my husband has, so I didn't think it was necessary to buy another pair (hehe)

Instead of me, my husband bought the FEVER model. 😅

He bought it thinking he could wear it for running and everyday life. When he bought it, he told me to wear his old running sunglasses. He's been giving me his running clothes too. What's with all the hand-me-downs? ;;;

Lydar sunglasses have a variety of models, and even if the frames are the same, their functions vary depending on the lens. I recommend visiting the store and trying them on before buying!

The staff explained the lenses in detail, showed me how the photochromic lenses change color, and were very kind.

He chose the black color with shadow black lenses.

My husband with his new sunglasses ran 15km.

Wearing my husband's hand-me-down sunglasses, I completed a 12km Han River run.

Unboxing at home ♥️

The price is ₩138,000, which isn't bad. That's probably why they're called affordable running sunglasses.

I recommend them as affordable running sunglasses!
