As June marks the beginning of summer,

Are you looking for indoor date spots on a rainy day?

If so, I recommend the Bukseong-ro Retro Course,

where you can travel back in time with the sound of rain.

From now until the end of June,

you can fill your inspiration at the Muyeongdang exhibition,

and enjoy the vibe at a hip bar,

making it a perfect half-day date course in Bukseong-ro!

Let me introduce it to you!

Indoor Date Course in Daegu Bukseong-ro

Muyeongdang

Just Do It Your Way (until 6/30)

Located at 8 Gyeongsang-gamyeong-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu

Our first destination is Muyeongdang,

which is located in an alley near Bukseong-ro.

This place has the history of being the first department store in Daegu,

established with our nation's capital against colonial power during the Japanese occupation.

In 2022, it was renovated into a multi-cultural space,

a center of culture and art where intellectuals and artists gathered in the 1930s.

Currently, until June 30,

Muyeongdang is hosting a special abstract art exhibition,

"Just Do It Your Way," featuring 14 artists.

The exhibition title captures the warm sentiment of the Daegu dialect.

The entire building from the first to the fourth floor terrace is utilized for the exhibition.

Filled with works focusing on color, texture, lines, and surfaces,

it's perfect for enjoying freely without a right answer.

Especially, the piece "Please Scribble Your Way" by artist Choi Bok-ho offers an interactive experience,

allowing visitors to leave comments and contribute to the artwork.

With ample space between the works,

this exhibition is a great opportunity for a unique cultural journey in downtown Daegu.

Don't miss it!

Just Do It Your Way

Exhibition Period: 2026.06.03 (Wed) ~ 06.30 (Tue)

Viewing Hours: 10 AM - 6 PM

*Closed every Tuesday

*Extended hours on Wednesdays until 8 PM

Next, let's head to Daehuajang,

Located at 104-15 Bukseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu

After enjoying the unique art at Muyeongdang,

let's walk to Daehuajang.

It's a long-standing multi-cultural space,

preserving the old sentiment between Daegu Station and Jungangro Station.

As you enter the vintage alley, you'll find Daehuajang,

a renovated old inn built in 1920,

offering a unique atmosphere where past and present coexist.

During the day, it serves as a cafe for enjoying desserts,

and at night, it transforms into a hip pub offering food and drinks.

With eight themed spaces connected organically,

it's a fun place to explore.

Daehuajang's true charm lies in its menu lineup,

which balances taste and visual appeal.

Experience a delightful time with great food and drinks,

making conversations flow naturally.

Why not enjoy a romantic night in Daegu,

deepening conversations with your companion?

Daehuajang

Located at 104-15 Bukseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu
