Indoor Date at Pixx Photo Studio near Hongdae: Capturing Memories in Style

The sweltering heat might be behind us, but the humidity still makes you sweat, right? It's hard to be anywhere without air conditioning these days!
I'm planning to explore indoor date spots until the summer is truly over.
Today, I went on an indoor date to… Photoshot Pixx near Hongdae! I found it while walking along the food street from Hapjeong Station.
The Hapjeong-Sangsu area is full of amazing restaurants. It would be perfect to grab a delicious meal, enjoy your date, and then stop by Pixx to take some photos on your way back to the station.
After all, photos are what remain! Of course, we take pictures with our phones, but I don't end up looking at them as often. I tend to cherish the 인생네컷 (life four-cut) photos from self-photo studios like this one for a long time.
I especially appreciate places that are aesthetically pleasing, and this self-photo studio has such a beautiful, warm wood tone!
There are many 인생네컷 and Photoism studios around, but Photoshot Pixx feels more special.
They seem to offer a variety of photo styles! I decided to go inside. There was a photo booth on the first floor, but since it was already occupied, I only took a quick look. It was a wood-themed self-photo studio.
Being impatient, I started searching for another booth. Luckily, there were several booths in the basement! I followed the sign and headed downstairs.
I saw signs for "Triple Cube" and "Dark Wood Cube" – I was intrigued!
Just a heads up, there isn't a handrail on the right side when you go down the stairs, so be a little careful. The first booth I encountered was this one! The basement had mirrors and props, all neatly arranged. There was a good variety of sunglasses too! After some deliberation, I chose this pair. This particular space is called "Cube" and seems perfect for taking full-body shots. Usually, self-photo studios only capture your face and upper body, and I sometimes want to take different kinds of photos.
This felt completely different, which I loved!
My first pick was the Triple Cube! Even the posters on the first floor looked unique. I took a lot of photos in the Triple Cube.
There were other cubes as well! Next, I took photos in the Mini Cube. I wanted to try sitting down since I had already taken some standing shots. This is a picture of the interior, which is so clean! They seem to be truly passionate about wood.
They also have a collaboration with the fragrance brand VINT. If you're a fan, they offer discount coupons, so be sure to grab one!
Before heading home, I made sure I had all my belongings!
