Words/Photos ⓒ Jjoy
Hi! I'm Jjoy, your travel blogger! 👋
I went on a trip to Seoul after a long time,
But it was a complete disaster because of the rain!!
Still, I decided to look around since I was already there,
So I wandered around despite the weather. lol
Our destination was the National Folk Museum of Korea next to Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Among other things, we focused on the 7080 Street.
And looked around.
National Folk Museum of Korea
⏰️ Operating Hours

On the way, there were pine trees and various sculptures.
Which was great to look around~
Nam O-seong General's Tomb Stele and Stone Objects
A 'yeonjabanga' (millstone) for grinding grains
Walking up while looking at these old objects and monuments,
You'll find the 7080 Memory Lane!
First, let's take a look around the school.
Reading is food for the soul lol
They recreated an elementary school classroom,
The facilities look better than when I went to school lol
It seems like it will be a space of memories if you come with your parents.
However, internal entry is not allowed
It's a little disappointing that you can only see it from the outside.
This is where the old supermarket is recreated!
100 won arcade games and 뽑기(random toy vending machine) in front of the stationery store
The supermarket items really bring back old memories~

Taking a picture as if going back to the 80s ^^
The appearance of the supermarket and stationery store
Each item is great for reminiscing about old memories~
I'm more impressed with the realistic appearance!
Next to the stationery store
There is a memory of a cart rocking horse
It brings back memories of riding it when I was young~

Passing by the public telephone
The lines for playing 땅따먹기 (ground-eating game) are drawn on the floor.
I used to play it a lot when I was young...lol
And they made a snack bar
I was amazed to see tteokbokki, fish cake, and steamed bread models

I also take a picture in front of the barber shop.
I think I used to be able to go inside and
I think I was able to look around,
But now there are hardly any places to go inside.
The back alleys of the neighborhood are also perfectly recreated!

Passing by the rice store and sesame oil store
Here is a tearoom.
You can also go inside this place!
DJ space where music and stories were played

I also take an old-fashioned photo at Yaksok tearoom.
In the past, it was possible to rent clothes at the clothing store
I think I also took pictures at the photo studio
Currently, you can only see everything from the outside!!
The space where you can experience is
It's a shame that it's reduced.

You can now only see the bathhouse from the front!
I think that's because there are so many people going in
I think it's because there are many parts that are damaged when you touch them~
Even if it's not wide, you can fall into old memories
Sufficient space!!
I took a lot of emotional pictures and came back ^^

There is a children's museum next to it
This place is operated only by reservation
Advance reservation is essential!!
7080 Memory Lane is
Parents and children, lovers, friends
It's a great place to visit together.

It's good to enjoy it as a short course
It was a great place to take special pictures ❤️
It kept drizzling
I quickly looked around and retreated.
So I couldn't see Gyeongbokgung Palace
Did you come back? lol

There are so many foreigners wearing hanbok and taking pictures!
Gyeongbokgung Palace, Folk Museum, Bukchon Hanok Village
It's good to see them together~
I went to Bukchon Hanok Village as my next course.
I will post it separately soon ^^
"How to enjoy Seoul in a different way"
Take a night tour bus and visit popular tourist attractions.
Please take a look around easily~
The 1 hour 30 minute course is neither too long nor too short
