Exploring the Newest Hotspot in Hongdae: Heop Hongdae Main Branch

It's that time of year again when summer vacation for college students is coming to an end.
Today, I'm heading to Heop Hongdae Main Branch, a new pocha (Korean-style pub) located near Hongdae and Sangsu Station.
Address: 1st Floor, 11-5, Wausan-ro 17-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul
It's about a 4-minute walk from Sangsu Station Exit 1.
Operating Hours: Monday to Saturday: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (*Sundays: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
The atmosphere at Heop Hongdae Main Branch is definitely something that people in their 20s would enjoy.

Their drinks are quite unique. They have bucket-sized alcoholic beverages priced around ₩7,000!

Since Heop Hongdae Main Branch is a new pocha, the interior is very clean and features a variety of seating options.
We chose a table with a circular arrangement.
They even give you chicken leg snacks and popcorn as a basic side dish – such thoughtful service from Heop Hongdae!
Here's what sets them apart:

Passing by, I also saw a Kanda Soba restaurant! Heop Hongdae Main Branch is located inside a new building, just past that alley.
We ordered the 1L Maksa Bucket, the Homemade Ham Steak, and the Seafood Stir-Fried Udon.
The owner's thoughtfulness shines through – they even have Febreze hanging on the restroom door! Such consideration!

The 1L Maksa has arrived! Let me give it a try.
The generous portion of Maksa is definitely worth the price! It's perfectly suited to my taste!
The Homemade Ham Steak is here!
Heop Hongdae Main Branch makes their own homemade ham. They recommended enjoying it with butter and whole-grain mustard to enhance the flavor.
Since it's homemade ham, it's different from regular ham. It's a taste that makes you want to keep drinking!

The Seafood Stir-Fried Udon is here! Heop Hongdae really spoils you! Just look at the portion size!
The Seafood Stir-Fried Udon is slightly spicy and the noodles are perfectly chewy. It's delicious and goes down so well with drinks!
My husband and I had a great time chatting and enjoying ourselves at Heop Hongdae Main Branch.

- The taste is above average!
- It's clean, which is a plus!
- Perfect place for conversation!
When I got home, I enjoyed some marron glacé from Angelina that my husband received from his company.
