The National Museum of Korea's museum shop, famous for the 'Cademon craze,' is a must-visit!

I'd been there before, but this time it was so crowded and had so many different products on display that browsing took quite a while.

The museum shop is located in the first-floor lobby where the exhibition halls are. You can take a quick look around at first, but if you turn right before exiting, you'll find another, separate museum shop.

Impressive Scene

So, there are actually two museum shops at the National Museum of Korea!

This second shop appears as you exit the main exhibition, and it's packed with must-have items.

Valuable Experience

I loved the tiger patches and stickers! The design is more artistic than realistic, and they look very stylish.

The Korean flag, 'Taegeukgi,' always strikes me as cool.

The 'Taegeukgi' keyring would make a great souvenir.

Personally, I really wanted the celadon three-color ballpoint pen.

Bright Future

I was also tempted by the gold crown pencil.

Another eye-catching product was the Seokguram Grotto lighting.

I think this item will be very popular because it's been featured on TV a lot. The detail is incredible.

Hopeful Tomorrow

Just a little further to the right before you exit, you'll find the National Museum of Korea's goods shop.

It's so large that it resembles an exhibition itself!

The first thing that caught my eye was the kitchen range incense set.

I used to live in a place where we heated the house with a traditional stove like that... Now, those memories are tourism products. I guess I'm getting old! ㅠㅠ

Hopeful Tomorrow

There's also the set of three color-changing cups featuring drunken scholars, which has been on TV a lot.

Can you see the 'sold out' sign? It's a popular item at the National Museum of Korea.

It's said that the scholars' faces turn red when you pour alcohol into the cups, which makes it a unique and popular souvenir.

The tile-shaped keyboard was sold out online for a while!

It's quite pricey at ₩119,700, and I personally like the brown color best. Note that it's a wired keyboard, not wireless.

Amazing Sight

Apparently, it's one of the most popular items in the National Museum of Korea's gift shop.

And how adorable is the Pensive Bodhisattva doll?

I highly recommend seeing the actual Pensive Bodhisattva statue in the museum.

There's also a Jokduri (Korean traditional coronet) ballpoint pen.

It costs ₩11,000.

The pen is detailed and looks luxurious, so if you want to buy a gift at the National Museum of Korea, you might want to consider it.

The tiger keyring is also unique and pretty, a must-have!

Bright Future

The National Museum of Korea's museum shop also holds many exhibitions. I saw on You Quiz on the Block that BTS's RM was looking for Pensive Bodhisattva merchandise, which probably made it even more famous.

Dreamlike Moment

If you come to the National Museum of Korea, be sure to visit the museum shop!

It's so much fun.
