Today, I want to introduce you to a fascinating place in Pohang that I've always wanted to visit.
This place, where the blue sky and silver metal structures beautifully blend together, is truly breathtaking!
Welcome to Pohang Space Walk!
I first visited the Pohang Museum of Art and then headed to the Space Walk.
It was a satisfying course, perfect for a leisurely stroll and relaxation.

1. Hwanho Park Space Walk
This is the Hwanho Park Space Walk, which is becoming a landmark in Pohang!
The massive structure resembles a roller coaster, giving a thrilling feeling just by looking at it.
The surrounding park is spacious and well-kept, making it perfect for a post-meal stroll.

2. The Way and Surrounding Atmosphere
The Space Walk is located within the expansive Hwanho Park.
You can enjoy the park scenery as you make your way up.
Upon entering the park, you will first see a large monument.
You can check the operating hours of the Space Walk on a digital sign, which is convenient.
The park is quite large, but there are plenty of signs to guide you.
I followed the signs and first explored the Pohang Museum of Art.
After enjoying the museum, I walked along the path leading to the Space Walk.
Although it was an uphill path, the bricks made it easy to walk on.
I encountered some cute signs along the trail.
The natural scenery around the path is beautiful.
I saw white flowers blooming on the leaves, which were labeled as ‘Flowering Raspberry’.
It was delightful to learn the names of flowers and trees while strolling.
The view on the way to the Space Walk is stunning.
Beyond the circular square, the scenery of the ocean and green trees is truly lovely.
I enjoyed the view while feeling the gentle breeze.
3. Space Walk Viewing Information
As you approach the entrance of the Space Walk, you'll find a large moon-shaped photo zone.
There is an information center at the end of the path.
Most importantly, the Space Walk is free to enter, making it an accessible travel destination in Pohang.
For those concerned about safety, there are safety certification documents attached to the pillars for verification.
Additionally, the rotating loop section is restricted for safety, which is also indicated.
4. Walking the Space Walk
Looking up from directly beneath the structure, you can see the thick silver pillars robustly supporting the Space Walk.
The size of the structure feels even more impressive up close.
The entrance resembles a subway turnstile.
Children under 110 cm in height are not allowed for safety reasons.
Looking up near the stairs, you can see the stairs slightly swaying in the sea breeze, which might be scary for those with a fear of heights.
The winding stairs are very dynamic.
From a distance, it feels like admiring a gigantic piece of art.
Next to the Space Walk, there are flower beds beautifully maintained by the staff.
After finishing the visit, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery again on the way down.
The refreshing view of the sea beyond the green hills was delightful.
