As spring approaches, I can feel the warmth in the air. I visited IpGok Natural Ecology Playground, a great spot in Hamann for families with children, featuring a spacious lawn and playground. There’s no entrance fee, and it has restrooms and parking facilities, making it very convenient for family outings.
The playground is located at 1175 IpGok-ri, Sanin-myeon, Hamann-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Although the park management office and the playground are adjacent, you won’t have trouble finding either location if you search for them on Naver Maps.
The parking lot is always open for use. It’s close to the lawn, making it easy to carry picnic items like bubbles, mats, and snacks.
The resting area can be used without a reservation, but it’s quite popular on weekends and holidays. Both the resting area and restrooms are well-maintained.
If the resting area is full, consider using the performance area visible in the photos. It has a deck, making it easy to lay out a mat, and the sun sets behind the mountains, providing nice shade. It’s a great spot to stay until the afternoon.
Sitting on the deck and looking out is quite refreshing. It feels like escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, and even just gazing at the scenery feels healing. You can almost hear the laughter of children running around and blowing bubbles.
The reason I recommend this place for families is the playground, which offers exciting activities like slides, seesaws, and zip lines for free.
When I visited on a weekday, it was quiet, but on weekends, you can always see children playing around the IpGok Municipal Park.
If you want to take your child out on the weekend but prefer to avoid crowded places, this could be the perfect spot. The ground is made of urethane, and the play equipment is low, ensuring safe play.
As shown in the photos, regular maintenance is conducted, allowing parents to relax and enjoy their time.
The zip line is the most extreme attraction here, but adults are not allowed to use it, so dads, please bear with it!
Pets are welcome in the grassy area. Many dog owners in Hamann will appreciate this.
Just bring a leash and waste bags, and you can take your dog for a walk. The lawn is spacious, allowing dogs to run freely and have a great time.
The walking trails are also appealing, and visitors using the Onsaemiro camping site can enjoy the playground facilities, making it a perfect outing for families with children and dogs.
The path leads to IpGok Municipal Park, where cherry blossoms are blooming, and spring flowers are starting to appear. I felt like leisurely enjoying the day with my child. I hope you find this information helpful for a delightful outing.
