Introducing Cafe Del Cottone, a Bukchon cafe specializing in espresso ☕️

(Perfect for morning strolls with coffee)

01. Location and Accessibility
Cafe Del Cottone is about a 5-6 minute walk from Anguk Station, exit 3.
Starting from Anguk Station and walking slowly up is great for a stroll,
with plenty of charming shops and restaurants nearby.
The exterior captures the serene essence of Bukchon Hanok,
while the interior is a cozy espresso bar,
beautifully blending tradition and modern aesthetics.
02. Atmosphere Inside the Cafe
Upon entering, you immediately feel the cozy ambiance.
There are about two tables, with most seating at the bar.
This makes it comfortable for solo visitors.
A panda mascot greets you at the entrance,
and the warm wooden tones with soft lighting create a welcoming atmosphere.
Although the seating is limited, the cozy space is perfect for solo visits, dates, or a travel break.
In Korea, there’s a notion that you should stay long in cafes,
but Cafe Del Cottone feels like a neighborhood hideout
where you can enjoy a quick espresso without pressure.
03. What’s on the Menu?
The menu at Cafe Del Cottone features a wide variety of espresso options,
including signature espressos combined with various recipes
as well as traditional Italian coffee selections.
Espresso servings are small, so you can easily enjoy two or three,
allowing you to experience different flavors and styles.
04. What Did I Choose?
Of course, I had to order the signature menu!
As someone who enjoys espresso but often struggles to find great places in the neighborhood,
the espresso at Cafe Del Cottone was aromatic and delightful ☕️
I ordered a Shakerato, an espresso shot shaken with ice,
which had a rich flavor and a clean aftertaste.
Visiting with a friend, we ordered three cups of coffee,
and since each serving isn’t too large,
I enjoyed tasting a variety of options.
The Shakerato was pleasantly sweet,
and the espresso itself was rich with a depth of flavor,
from the basic recipes to the more unique blends.
05. Why I Recommend Cafe Del Cottone
Cafe Del Cottone is a great stop along the Bukchon Hanok walking route,
perfect for refreshing yourself after a meal.
With rich coffee flavors and a diverse menu,
it’s an espresso bar that’s easy to enjoy solo.
Although seating is limited, the ambiance is a healing point,
making it a beloved spot for locals and travelers alike. ✨
