Experience the Equestrian Culture of Daegaya in 2026

In the Year of the Horse, 2026, we bring you a very special announcement.
Daegaya, known for the UNESCO-listed Daegaya Jisandong Tumuli, was a land of mounted warriors who rode horses and shot arrows.
The Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center in Goryeong proudly showcases this history and culture, and has been featured in the local program 'Now, Local Era' on TBC.
We will introduce you to the exciting filming experience that goes beyond simple horseback riding, where you can immerse yourself in the essence of our traditional martial arts, 'Horseback Martial Arts'.
The Daegaya Equestrian Special Zone is equipped with various facilities for a perfect 1-night, 2-day trip, from accommodations to experiences.
Managed by the renowned master Seok Jang-kyun, the Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center offers horseback riding, carriage rides, and traditional archery.
Next to it, there are caravan accommodations where you only need to bring food, with everything else provided.
Using these facilities grants you a 10% discount on experiences available at the Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center.
If you love camping, the Daegaya Camp allows tent setups, as well as caravan and camper van parking. You can also enjoy sausage-making and pizza-making experiences.
The TBC filming took place at the Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center on May 2, under sunny weather, lasting about 4 hours to capture perfect scenes.
The highlight of the filming was undoubtedly the performance of Master Seok Jang-kyun and the Daegaya Youth Equestrian Team.
The precision with which the young members shot arrows while balancing on galloping horses was truly impressive.
Traditional horseback martial arts is a highly skilled discipline that requires a seamless connection between horse and rider.
The performances during the recent Daegaya Festival, including a chase scene with a moving model tiger, received great applause from tourists.
The Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center offers unique carriage experiences, making it a rare educational institution for carriage training in Korea.
In October, the center hosts the 'Daegaya International Knight Competition' and 'Sports Carriage Competition', attracting knights from around the world.
Make unforgettable memories at the Daegaya Equestrian Culture Experience Center, where the sound of spirited hooves echoes in 2026.
Join us on May 11 at 6 PM on TBC to witness this vibrant experience, and consider a weekend getaway to Goryeong with your loved ones!
