Escape to Ucheon Valley: A Hidden Gem in Sacheon for Family Fun

Recommended Valley to Visit in Sacheon
Ucheon Natural Recreation Area below Yongso Valley
This summer, our family is going here!
Hello!
The Mirijae Farm family also took their first and last valley trip of the summer to a nearby spot ^^
We originally went to the very famous Yongso Valley in Sacheon, but it was too crowded. Then we tried Neunghwa Forest, but it wasn't quite right for swimming, so we moved to Ucheon Natural Recreation Area.
This place was a hit with the whole Mirijae family!
Here's why I recommend this valley in Sacheon!
There's plenty of shade from the trees, and the rental fee for a flat bench is ₩20,000. The water wasn't deep, but there was still plenty of space to play in the water. Water was constantly flowing from above the rocks like a waterfall, which made it nice and cool! ^^
The path through the lush trees is cool and pleasant, making it perfect for a light stroll after a meal.
The area below the swimming area is off-limits, so there aren't any people there.
At the very bottom of the valley is Guryong Reservoir. There were people fishing in the reservoir as well, haha.
Just relaxing and taking it easy today~ haha
There's a row of flat benches along the side of the valley.
The benches are first-come, first-served, so you can arrive on the day and choose the one you want.
There were showers, a store, toilets, and sinks, so there was no inconvenience at all.
We swam, grilled meat, made fried rice, and even cooked ramen! That's the fun of the valley, haha ^^
Lying on the bench, looking up at the dense leaves... It was so nice to relax in the valley after so long.
Is summer almost over?~
If you're looking for one last valley trip this summer, go to Ucheon Natural Recreation Area~

If you enter the address below, there was someone to guide you at the entrance.
If there's no one there, just follow the road straight in.
