As part of our summer vacation bucket list, my daughter and I took a one-day clay soap making class at Chae Wol Ga workshop in Chuncheon! ❤️

Dating at a workshop where you can create things exactly as you want, from the cutest props, is always fun.

This time, we made soap in the one-day class.

Even my daughter, who isn't usually interested in art, completed her project with praise from the teacher! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ❤️

They even provided mosquito repellent and a soap dish in a mini bag as a service! My daughter was so happy ❤️

Chae Wol Ga Workshop has moved!

From Myeong-dong to Aemaekgol!

They used to be located in Yukrim Gogaek area.

Clay Soap Making

Now, we're going to make our own special soaps that we reserved!

When we arrived on time, they had already taken out the materials and set them up. Then they explained everything kindly!

Creating something from nothing is very difficult for beginner artists,

But following a picture like this seemed doable! ^_^

We each chose two pictures we wanted.

Then, we slowly started practicing according to the teacher's instructions.

Putting clay on top of the soap was a bit unfamiliar and difficult at first,

But the difficulty level was such that even my second-grade daughter quickly grasped it,

So it didn't feel too difficult!

My daughter wanted to express the orange sunset and pretty clouds,

But do you think it turned out pretty well?

ㅎ.ㅎ.ㅎ.ㅎ

After making it pretty, they put it on a mold to finish it.

This is my daughter's second creation +_+

My daughter was concentrating and trying to finish it beautifully,

I was really proud of her!

The teacher waited patiently until the end and explained calmly,

So I was able to complete it on my own until the end. >_<

The hardened soap is completed like this.

This is my daughter's first piece.

I think she combined her favorite sky blue and white colors to express Cinnamoroll well! Haha.

Using it practically

For the experience of making two soaps per person,

They also gave us a stand to hold the soap and mosquito repellent. :)

The bag they gave us was also so pretty! ㅎ.ㅎ

After visiting the workshop,

My daughter, who has a higher level of decoration skills, added a name tag ㅋㅋㅋ

I placed it in the bathroom like this

And it is using well.

It was a practical class ..!

In the hot and humid summer of Chuncheon,

It's a great indoor date

A date in the workshop with my child, where I can make practical items, was so nice.

It would be great for couples to make,

And it would be perfect for spending a fun summer vacation with your child!

I am so curious about what the newly relocated Chae Wol Ga looks like! >_<

Since parking is easier and the space is larger,

I'll have to visit again next time~!!
