Hello, this is Saranghe Ddonggang!

I'm excited to share my experience at Changwon Pet Village, a special space for dogs in Changwon. This free dog park combines the functions of a dog shelter and a pet culture center, making it a meaningful place to visit. With a large area where even big dogs can run freely, it's perfect for taking a walk with your furry friend. Let me tell you all about the charms of Changwon Pet Village!

The biggest advantage of Changwon Pet Village is its large, free dog park where medium to large dogs can run and play freely! There are separate playgrounds for small and large dogs, making it especially recommended for owners of large breeds.

The playground is safe for dogs to run around.
Shaded areas, rest facilities, and drinking fountains are also provided, ensuring a comfortable stay for both dogs and owners.

There are various play facilities like basic obstacle courses, tunnels, jumping platforms, and slides, perfect for dogs to release their energy.

The park is separated into large and small dog areas.

These photos were taken on a previous visit during winter.
We live nearby and visit often!
This is a review from a previous visit.
In addition to the playground, there are various facilities that make it a great place to enjoy a full day out.

This facility also functions as an abandoned animal shelter operated by Changwon City. Dogs are temporarily protected and waiting for adoption. Adoption counseling is available, and you can also obtain information on abandoned animal protection.

It warmed my heart to see the dogs being cared for in a clean environment.

Pet culture center facilities include educational rooms and experience zones where pet education programs and citizen participation events are often held.

Various topics are covered, such as socialization training, pet etiquette education, and dog health management lectures. Check the schedule in advance if you are interested.

There is also a coffee shop!

Dogs with aggressive tendencies may be restricted from entering.
Owners must clean up after their pets! Poop bags are provided on-site.
Leashes can only be removed inside the playground.
This place is recommended for:

Owners looking for a free dog park for large dogs.
Those looking for a place to take their dog for a walk and enjoy a weekend outing.
Those considering adopting an abandoned animal.
Those who want to enjoy education/experience programs with their dog.

It was great to see dogs from medium to large sizes running and playing freely in the playground!
I was especially impressed that such a high-quality dog park is available for free.

The fact that it also operates an abandoned dog shelter makes it a great educational place to visit with children who love dogs.
It would also be great for those who are considering adoption.

Changwon Pet Village is more than just a dog park; it's a space where animal welfare and culture coexist, making it the best value outing destination to go with your dog. A Final Word!

You can use various facilities for free and have a time to deepen the bond with your pet! If you live near Changwon, be sure to visit!
