Archery Experience at the Korean Folk Village
Visited the Korean Folk Village with my husband :)
With so many activity programs to choose from, if you're wondering what to do, I recommend the archery experience!
If you come inside the Folk Village, you'll find it near the marketplace.
There's so much to see that you'll eventually come across it while exploring :)
In fact, there's a banner that says "Traditional Korean Archery Experience" ^^
If you dream of being a master of martial arts, don't worry if you don't have cash!
It's only 6,000 won.
The fee is based on 10 arrows per person.
That day, my husband forgot his wallet, so naturally, I paid with my card ^^
Ha... Well, as long as my dear husband was happy!
The day we visited, there was a chance of rain in the afternoon, and it was a weekday, so there weren't many people!
My husband saw someone else shooting and decided to give it a try!
In his mind, he was like Jumong (a legendary archer), but in reality, his body couldn't keep up ㅋㅋ
Since it was his first time, his hand hurt a lot from holding the string ㅠㅠ
Still, he gathered his courage and practiced archery diligently ㅎㅎ
It looked easy when others were doing it, but I could immediately tell he was having a hard time ㅋㅋ
I could feel it from his awkward smile.
The instructor beside him kept saying:
Too high!
Too low!
Pull the bow more!
I appreciated the advice, but I was so confused!
After shooting, you have to verify your result and retrieve all 10 arrows yourself ㅋㅋ
Everything is self-service!
To be honest, 6,000 won felt a bit expensive.
There are many activities at the Korean Folk Village, but spending that amount of money in such a short time to shoot 10 arrows... hmm...
He wanted to be Jumong in his past life, but reality was different...
Still, it was worth it as long as my husband was happy ㅎㅎ
At the Korean Folk Village, there are various programs besides traditional archery, such as horseback riding and horror experiences, so I hope you'll visit on a cool autumn day and make some memories!
When we visited the Korean Folk Village, it wasn't quite autumn yet, as everything was still green!
I thought that I would like to come back here alone when the leaves are colored with autumn foliage.
