Yongin Transportation Museum & Car Museum
Samsung Transportation Museum
Hello,
I'm @Salgu_a_ssi, a travel influencer.
I recently visited the Samsung Transportation Museum, a car museum in Yongin.
You can see the past, present, and future of automobiles and enjoy a picnic in the outdoor garden.
I'd like to introduce this place because I highly recommend it.

There are various children's experience zones, amazing classic cars, a fountain in the outdoor garden, relaxation areas, and a convenience store, making it perfect for an outing.
Car Museum Location & Parking
The Samsung Transportation Museum is located right near Everland in Yongin.
I usually visit Everland every year, and I was surprised to find such a great place so close by.
The parking lot doesn't allow direct entry; you'll receive guidance at the entrance.
Basic 4 hours are free, and after that, there is a fee of 500 won per 10 minutes.
I visited on a weekday afternoon, and the parking space was spacious, so I was able to use it comfortably.

Car Museum Exhibition & Experience Facilities
The Yongin Transportation Museum consists of the 1st and 2nd floors.
When you enter indoors, you will see the drone tower first.
There are also drone shows and experiences, so it's worth watching at least once.
This is an exhibition hall where permanent and special exhibitions of mobility are held.
You can appreciate various cars from the past, and it's fun to see because the designs are much more diverse than the standardized cars of today.
At the drone experience zone, you can also bring your own drone and experience it.
There was also a Lego experience zone that children would love, and you could also see car Legos.
From the F1 racetrack experience to the Speed King Racer, traffic safety experience, safe driving, and drinking measuring device experience, there are endless things to experience.
On the 2nd floor, classic cars from each era were on display.
It was a valuable place where you could see early cars from 100 years ago and representative old cars from the 20th century at a glance.
Cars are common now, and anyone can ride them easily, but in the past, they were a special means of transportation that only people of high status could enjoy.
Perhaps that's why the materials used in the cars at the time were very luxurious, and the exterior also had a magnificent feel.
You could actually sit in some of the exhibited vehicles.
Old props were also prepared, making it a great place to take emotional photos.
Movies are also being screened in one corner of the 2nd floor.
There are no chairs, so I sat on the floor for a while and watched, and it was quite fun.
Transportation Museum Outdoor Attractions
Various classic cars and sports cars are on display in the outdoor garden, so even from a distance, you can tell that this is a transportation museum at a glance!
There are also Robocar Poli friends, which are representative of car animations.
The children really liked it so much that they were each holding on to one of the characters.
Cute photo zones are also prepared in various places along with a cool fountain.
Movies are also being screened in the circular plaza in the middle of the outdoor plaza, making it a good place to take a break and watch.
Restaurant, Cafe, & Convenience Facilities
There is a large cafe on the 1st floor of the Transportation Museum, making it a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Plus, you can read books for free.
There is also a souvenir shop opposite the cafe, so be sure to take a look.
There is a table in the outdoor lounge where you can eat lunch boxes or snacks.
There is also a water purifier, which is nice.
There are many picnic tables outdoors, so many families enjoy outings, and many kindergartens and daycare centers come here for picnics.
You can also feel the atmosphere of an outdoor cafe, and they also sell simple convenience store food.
Also, the train car lounge and food truck offer a variety of delicious menu items such as pork cutlet, Hangang ramen, and Sotteok-sotteok.
It's good to bring your own lunch box and enjoy it like a picnic outdoors, or you can buy it simply on site and be satisfied enough.
I visited the Yongin Samsung Transportation Museum, a car museum full of things to learn and enjoy with children.
It is well equipped with indoor and outdoor exhibitions, experiences, and convenience facilities, making it great for family outings or dates.
It is a place that I recommend because it is a place that anyone can enjoy, not only those who are interested in cars!
