A Visit to the Decathlon Running Pop-up Store at AK Plaza Bundang: A Recommended Place to Visit in Bundang

Seohyeon Station in Bundang is a great place to enjoy shopping, culture, and various experiences all in one spot. I recently visited the Decathlon Running Pop-up Store at AK Plaza Bundang, which was quite an experience!
I highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys exercise. It’s a fun thing to do in Bundang and a chance to get some good shopping done.
Various Promotions and Benefits
This pop-up store wasn't just a regular store opening; it was full of special deals.
After signing up for membership and purchasing products, I was able to get various discounts such as 10% off men's windbreakers, a special price of ₩99,000 for KS 900 running shoes (men's/women's), and smartphone belts and soft flasks for ₩9,900 each.
All customers who made a purchase also received a reusable blue bag, which was very practical.
In addition, members earned 1% of their purchase amount as points, and first-time customers received an additional 500 points. Thanks to these benefits, I was able to enjoy shopping for sporting goods in Bundang at a reasonable price.
Experience Programs Full of Fun
The event venue was more than just a shopping space.
Running Drill Training Challenge:
I was able to receive a massage device by following the coach's movements for 30 seconds, and anyone could easily participate.

DecaRunners Class:
There was a class where you could learn running with a professional coach through prior application, so even beginners could enjoy it without any burden.

Run Base Service:
I was impressed by the thoughtful consideration for runners, including clothing rental, luggage storage, and provision of bottled water.
Among the many places to visit in Bundang, it's rare to find a space where you can enjoy activities and experiences in addition to simple consumption.
Diverse Product Lineup
A variety of essential sports equipment was on display at the pop-up site.
Hats, Jackets
Running Vests:
Kiprun trail vests (various sizes such as 5L and 10L) were on display, and they seemed useful for long-distance runners due to the many storage spaces.

Running Gloves:
There was a variety of price ranges and designs starting from ₩17,900, so I could prepare for winter running.
Other Accessories
Massage Balls & Massage Rollers:

These products help with recovery after exercise and are small enough to carry around.

Smartphone Belts, Flasks, Running Shoes:
Lightweight and practical accessories were available, making it easy for beginner runners to equip themselves.

All of these items were available at reasonable prices, making it satisfying for both those starting running and those looking to upgrade their equipment.
Atmosphere and Review
The event venue was crowded with many people on the weekend. There were many families, and I could see people trying on running shoes or carefully comparing gloves and vests. The staff were kind enough to explain the products, so even beginners could easily make a choice.

In particular, I enjoyed being able to participate directly in the exercise at the experience zone and receive small prizes on the spot. It was like a small festival combined with shopping.

This Decathlon pop-up store was not just a place to sell products, but an experiential space for everyone who enjoys running. The discounts, free classes, and various events made it a fulfilling experience.

If you like exercising or want to start running, don't miss this event. This pop-up store at AK Plaza was a fun thing to do in Bundang and a new discovery where you can enjoy exercise and shopping at the same time. I would definitely visit again if there is another opportunity in the future.
