I visited the 'Da-Hae' Festival in Bangaojin in 2025.

I visit this festival every year because I can eat fresh seafood at affordable prices, and the lively atmosphere makes it a great experience. That's why I keep coming back.

On Saturday, November 15th, many people had already gathered in the plaza in front of the Bangaojin Live Fish Center.

I was able to attend the opening remarks at 5 PM, and it was a time when the energy of the region was directly conveyed.

I was most looking forward to the large yellowtail dismantling show, but unfortunately, it wasn't happening when I was there. However, I remember last year's show being overwhelmingly impressive.

Everyone was amazed at the sight of the large yellowtail being prepared right before their eyes.

After the dismantling show, samples of the large yellowtail sashimi were given out. The savory taste of the freshly sliced yellowtail filled my mouth, leaving a lasting impression.

The aroma of dried seafood grilled over charcoal briquettes at the dried seafood grill booth was so enticing that it made people stop in their tracks.

Performances were held throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The music playing against the backdrop of the sea completed the ambiance perfectly.

Even a cute bird came to visit!

I could really feel the popularity of the Bangaojin Seafood Festival.

There were various foods besides seafood, such as Gwamegi (dried half-beak) and fish cakes, so even people who don't eat seafood could have a good time.

At the art market, works by local sellers were on display. Each piece had its own unique personality and care put into it, making it fun to browse.

The local market sold regional agricultural and marine products and specialties. The products were so fresh from Ulsan and Bangaojin that I took a keen interest in them.

The on-site payment benefits were also a plus.

Many people were taking advantage of the offer to receive a KRW 5,000 Onnuri gift certificate for every KRW 30,000 spent and a KRW 10,000 certificate for every KRW 50,000 spent.

To purchase seafood at the fish center, you had to find the stall with the corresponding number and name on the ticket, place your order, and then receive the refund.

I enjoyed the festival, bought food and souvenirs, and even received benefits, which made me even more satisfied.

As befitting Bangaojin, the sea, food, and performances came together to create an event that allowed me to feel the local atmosphere even more strongly.

The seafood was generously prepared, and I could see it before buying it, which made me trust it even more.

I bought seafood and was very happy to get two octopuses for KRW 10,000, a price I've never seen anywhere else.

I could buy as much as I wanted and watch it being prepared right away, so I could buy with confidence, and the refund made it even more cost-effective.

Even after sunset, people didn't leave, and I could once again feel the unique charm of the Bangaojin Festival.

I think those who attended for the first time this year were satisfied, and those who already liked Bangaojin enjoyed it even more.

The 2025 'Da-Hae in Bangaojin' Festival was a fulfilling time filled with the sea, food, performances, and benefits.

I would love to visit again if it's held next time.
