A Visit to Jajangam Hermitage and a Relaxing Afternoon

I occasionally visit Tongdosa Temple, but today I passed right through to visit Jajangam Hermitage, one of Tongdosa's affiliated temples.

The 'Jajangdongcheon' stream flowing in front of Jajangam used to have abundant water, but due to this year's drought, the water level has decreased, which is a shame.
Plump acorns had grown.
At the entrance to the uphill path leading to Jajangam, a rock with beautifully engraved letters welcomes me.
You have to bow your head to pass through.

The stairway path going up is so beautiful that all worldly worries seem to vanish.
Reaching Jajangam after climbing the stairs, trumpet creepers cheerfully greet me.
There isn't a breath of wind at Jajangam, and the late-summer heat hasn't subsided yet, making it very hot. Red peppers are laid out to dry between the roof tiles on the wall.

In the distance, Yeongchuksan Mountain unfolds beautifully like a folding screen.
The weather was too hot today, so I skipped walking the Tongdosa pine forest path. ㅠㅠ
Instead, I found a cafe with a pretty garden nearby. A place I visit occasionally.

My wife sits in the cafe, sketching in her sketchbook, while I'm busy exploring the garden...
Good news came to our family, making it an even happier and more grateful day.
