A Summer Getaway in Busan: Yoga Retreat and Ultimate Relaxation at After Chapter Hotel

Hello, I'm Yogini Siso.
In this post, I'd like to share my summer vacation experiences with you.
At some point, constantly proving myself became a habit. It made it difficult for me to fully 'rest'. But after discovering yoga, I learned how to approach 'rest' in a new way.
Sometimes, yoga becomes my only form of rest, which is a little sad.
Recently, I went to Busan for my summer vacation.
The main reason for visiting Busan was because I was so impressed with the practice I received from Director Park Chun-yong at the Raja Yoga Meditation Center in Haeundae, Busan, a year ago. So, I decided to go again.
One year ago (2024) at Busan Raja Yoga, I couldn't do a headstand on my own.
This year (2025), the vice director gave me such a warm and encouraging gaze.
I'll share a review of the Busan Haeundae Raja Yoga Meditation Center in my next post!
Anyway,
In Busan, I discovered an accommodation called 'After Chapter Hotel' that was designed with 'rest' as its main concept. It was a bit pricey, but I knew I had to go.
As soon as I arrived, I couldn't get out of the bed... I slept soundly for two hours...
It was so beautiful that I booked it immediately.
Then, I found out that it also has a meditation room, a swimming pool, and a pretty decent buffet for breakfast!
Here are some photos:

Meditation Room (Inner Peace Zone).

Before entering the private meditation room, you choose an oil to be sprayed in the room.

The room felt like a space for contemplation, and an LP was playing.

Even the room key was charming... you can see the attention to detail in everything.
And I wanted to take this bed home with me... so soft and cozy...
The custom-made sink tiles were also very luxurious and stylish.

After Chapter Hotel - Overall Review:
This place is truly optimized for 'rest'.
The room had a cozy scent, and while there weren't many lights, it wasn't too dark either.
There were also power outlets exactly where they were needed.
You can really feel the effort that went into creating a space for rest.
There's an Inner Peace meditation room, a swimming pool with a view of the Gwangan Bridge, and while I've been to many other hotels, the bed here was insane...
Upon check-in, the front desk immediately informed me about making a reservation for the meditation room... I told them I'd go up and call, but I was planning on going right away...
But as soon as I lay down on the bed, I passed out for two hours...
I'm usually quite sensitive and have trouble sleeping when I change locations, but I slept like a baby here.
Maybe it was thanks to the aroma oil in the Inner Peace room...
I truly slept like a log...
My sister and I were talking and we agreed...
This place... you really just end up sleeping here...
Is it like a healing therapy center disguised as a hotel...?
In my next post, I'll share more details about my experience at the Inner Peace Zone, including its pros and cons, how to make a reservation, and other helpful tips!
If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!
That concludes my paid-for summer vacation staycation review.
