Time: 70 minutes

Genre: Puzzle Room

Price: ₩22,000

(₩1,000 discount for bank transfer)

I've always been a solo player.

I finally played 'M' at Murder Park Hongdae Branch 1, a theme I had been saving specifically for solo escapes.

Themes designed so overtly for solo players are rare, so I'd been holding onto it for a special occasion.

...I think it's been about three years? Haha. I figured it was time to finally do it.

So, on a day I had plans in Hongdae, I arrived a little early and headed to Murder Park. As a homebody, I try to complete all my 'quests' whenever I go out.

Hopeful Tomorrow

Murder Park Hongdae Branch 1 is slightly closer to Hapjeong Station.

It took me a little less than 10 minutes to walk there.

When I arrived, nobody was there... or rather, they were tidying up the theme.

This was my third visit. I've done 'Shoemaker's Customer' and 'Chilchil' before. I remember both being just okay.

Other themes have solo rates too? Next time, I'll have to come for 'Bantan'. 'M' is ₩22,000, but you get a ₩1,000 discount if you pay via bank transfer.

The waiting area has a strong first-generation vibe. I sat for a bit, then was guided in.

???? Devices & Production

Packed with Murder Park's signature analog devices.

????‍♀️ Activity Level

Nothing much, but it felt busy being alone.

Mysterious Appearance

???? Thoughts

Is it real that I used a hint from the first puzzle? Seriously.

I've been feeling lazy because there are so many 'spoon-fed' themes these days.

I felt that thinking was getting too much.

I was solving them slowly.

Unfortunately, two problems remained.

Well, actually, I wasn't that sad.

My concentration was gone, and I wanted to get out quickly. There are 26 puzzles in the 70-minute theme.

If you're alone, there's more to do, so you have to manage your time well.

It was nice to see Murder Park's puzzle style again after a long time.

It was fun. I even burst out laughing at one of the puzzles lol.

Murder Park themes are a bit rough around the edges.

But they are witty and charming.

Like a friend you're happy to see occasionally.

Maybe not right away, but after some time, I think I'll go for another solo escape when I'm bored haha.

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user.
