A Solo Day Out in Apgujeong

Hello, I am Jeristella, a travel influencer.
As the year comes to an end, I find myself with more appointments, making the short moments I spend alone even more precious.
On this Saturday, I decided to explore Apgujeong Rodeo Street, enjoying a simple lunch alone and savoring a cup of coffee at the Hyundai Department Store to soak in the year-end atmosphere. This post is a record of that small but delightful day. If you're looking for date spots, restaurants, or cafes in Apgujeong, my post might be helpful!

Apgujeong Date Spot 1: Downtowner Burger
• Address: 14 Dosan-daero 53-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
• Business Hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Last Order 8:00 PM)
• About a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station
Without waiting long, I found a place where I could enjoy a meal alone without feeling awkward, perfect for a solo lunch on Apgujeong Rodeo Street.
When it comes to burgers in Apgujeong, Downtowner immediately comes to mind.
Even though it was the weekend, the alley near Cheongdam was surprisingly not crowded, and the layout was ideal for dining alone, making me feel relaxed.
Order Menu: Avocado Burger / French Fries / Diet Coke
Ordering as a set gives a discount of 1,000 won!
The taste was just as I remembered, with fresh avocado and a patty that was light and not overwhelming, making it a perfect lunch option.
After satisfying my hunger, I had some time before my next appointment, so I naturally headed to the Hyundai Department Store, entering the GOURMET 494 food hall.
Perhaps it was the year-end vibe, but the atmosphere in the department store felt especially lively.
I went to Dojo Roastery, a place known for high-quality coffee. Dojo Coffee specializes in roasting, allowing customers to choose their green beans and roasting style before it’s prepared fresh.
Unlike other cafes, they offer a unique experience where you can select and roast your beans on the spot. You can even set the grind size and purchase the beans afterward.
I had already tried their Americano at the Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo, and it was consistently delicious.
On this day, I opted for takeout and decided to enjoy some window shopping at the department store.
While waiting, I watched the roasting process and enjoyed examining the various green beans from around the world.
With my takeout coffee in hand, I strolled slowly through the food hall.
Chocolat Palette was having a pop-up, and I thought it was a chocolate brand that perfectly matched the year-end vibe.
The colorful chocolates reminded me of Christmas tree ornaments!
Even though it was a short time, my eyes were delighted, my hands were warm, and I felt a soft happiness in that moment.
Though I was alone that day, I believe this route could also serve as a simple date course in Apgujeong. I subtly recommend my little happiness itinerary.
