A Serene Journey Through Taebaek with a Travel Writer

Hello, I am Jung Soo-yeon from the SNS reporter group :D
Three days after the snowfall, Taebaek was quietly adorned with a fresh blanket of snow.
That day, I had the opportunity to explore Taebaek slowly and calmly with travel writer Park Sang-jun.
Thanks to the recent snowfall, Taebaek appeared even more vivid.
Although it didn't snow on the day of our visit, the scenery was pristine and well-arranged due to the snow that had fallen a few days earlier.
We took our time walking through the birch forest and exploring Green Horn Hill, unraveling the stories of Taebaek one by one.
The birch forest, still echoing with white, was a space where footsteps slowed down even more than words.
From Green Horn Hill, I was able to see the vast landscape of Taebaek anew.
While gazing at the same scenery, I couldn't help but wonder, "How will this scene remain in the writer's eyes?"
After reflecting on the day, my body naturally craved warmth.
So, we decided to stop by Ilpum Yangpyeong Haejang-guk, located below the Taebaek Sodong.
The bone soup we had there was served in a generous bowl, with a clean yet spicy broth, making it the perfect way to conclude our journey!
It was satisfying without being overwhelming, leaving me feeling refreshed.
After walking through winter Taebaek, it tasted even better.
The Taebaek seen through the writer's eyes will be shared soon.
Even though it's the same Taebaek, the stories change depending on who is observing it.
The traces of snow remaining in Taebaek, the birch forest, and the scenery of Taebaeksan National Park will be featured in the Seoul Newspaper travel column on the 28th.
I am looking forward to it very much, and I hope you will wait with me!
The Taebaek right after the snow has stopped is quiet, neat, and lingers in memory.
See you again in our next story ^-^
