A Relaxing Escape at Goyang Picnic Citizen Park

In our busy daily lives,
there are times when we need a space to pause.
Even without traveling far or having special plans,
if we can find tranquility nearby,
that alone can provide sufficient relaxation.
Goyang Picnic Citizen Park, located in Daehwa-dong, Goyang City,
is a leisure space that citizens can visit without hesitation.
Upon visiting,
I found that this place is not just a park for walking,
but a space where people linger and spend time,
creating moments of everyday respite.
What caught my eye, especially nowadays,
was that it is a park where cooking is allowed.
Seeing families and friends enjoying meals together
allowed me to feel the unique atmosphere of this space.
Inside the park, there are tables and resting areas
that are perfect for taking a break or having a meal.
The most impressive aspect was the presence of citizens
spending time in various ways.
There were people sitting around tables with their families,
others chatting with friends,
and some just taking a moment to relax.
The relaxed atmosphere was palpable.
Notably, many visitors seemed to stay for a long time,
indicating that this is not just a place to drop by,
but a resting space close to the lives of citizens.
Recently, many parks have restricted cooking,
but Goyang Picnic Citizen Park allows it.
With a Nonghyup Hanaro Club right in front,
it’s easy to buy necessary ingredients.
Sharing prepared meals naturally fosters moments of togetherness,
showing how important leisure opportunities are
in our daily lives.
Goyang Picnic Citizen Park is a space
that everyone can use without burden,
offering a place to relax nearby.
It exemplifies the concept of public leisure space
close to our daily lives.
If you plan to visit,
note that Goyang Picnic Citizen Park operates on a reservation basis.
Reservations can be made through the Goyang City integrated reservation system.
It’s possible to apply for reservations typically from Tuesday to Thursday for the following week,
and the usage fee is free.
A maximum of six people can use one picnic area.
If there are more than seven, two tables need to be reserved separately.
You can choose your spot on a first-come, first-served basis before entering the picnic area.
The first entry is at 10 AM,
and the second entry is from 4 PM.
When you want to take a breather in a nearby space,
Goyang Picnic Citizen Park seems to be a great choice.
