A Refreshing Walk Through Taehwa River Bamboo Grove

After igniting my passion while watching the stunning New Year's sunrise, my return to daily life is filled with tranquility.
Though the weather is cold, I headed to Taehwa River National Garden for a refreshing experience.
Every year, the flowers seem to bloom beautifully in their designated spots.
Considering the vastness of Taehwa River National Garden, I pondered where to go, and my choice was undoubtedly the Ten-Mile Bamboo Grove.
After parking, I made my way to the bamboo grove, captivated by the shimmering reflections on the river, prompting me to stop and take a photo.
I decided to visit the information center first. I was curious about the view of Taehwa River National Garden from the rooftop garden and needed a moment to gather my thoughts.
The information center provides valuable insights about the garden, and the rooftop garden offers an expansive view, making it a hidden gem.
Upon exiting the building, the Ten-Mile Bamboo Grove awaited me right in front. It's quite lengthy with multiple entrances, so there's no need to worry if you want to exit midway.
For your information, there is no entrance fee, and you can walk freely at any time.
Such a bamboo forest path is rare even across the country.
While Damyang's Juknokwon comes to mind, the Ten-Mile Bamboo Grove in Taehwa River is equally impressive.
The towering bamboo shoots reach for the sky, creating a vibrant atmosphere as they sway in the wind, producing their unique sounds and maintaining their green hues throughout the year.
Many people say that simply being here fills them with energy.
Following the walking path through the forest, there are various activities to enjoy.
A graffiti space is one of them. It seems like it's been a while since you last scribbled something?
It used to be that graffiti was discouraged by the government, but times have changed significantly.
Enjoy a bamboo forest bath! Bamboo is said to release a large amount of negative ions.
These ions are believed to enhance resistance and clear the mind. Here, you can receive these ions for free.
Utilizing the photo zones and experience zones set up within the Ten-Mile Bamboo Grove would also be great.
Capture memories at the bamboo photo zone, and the bamboo xylophone produces a fun sound, making it an enjoyable experience.
Arriving at the midpoint, you'll find a space designed with bamboo, creating a unique atmosphere that I particularly enjoy.
Moreover, you don't have to limit yourself to just walking in the bamboo grove. Head toward the river to find the beautiful Taehwa River, or go to the park square where lovely gardens await.
Though the New Year has just begun, I felt myself getting lazy, so I decided to walk through the Ten-Mile Bamboo Grove, achieving my goal.
A wonderful place where even a light walk can be healing! I hope you all get a chance to visit.
