Hello, it's Sparrow! 🐦🍞

I went to The Hyundai in Daegu and saw some bread that looked so delicious I couldn't resist!

Turns out, this place is famous in Dongseongro for its bakery pilgrimage.

From afar, I just had a feeling...

"This is a good place!"

The chocolate cornet bread just looked too good to pass up.

Looks delicious, right?

I spent a while looking at these two, thinking they were the same thing.

But one was a Valrhona Chocolate Cornet, and the other was a 99% Valrhona Chocolate Cornet!

LOL

They had different names, and the 99% one was completely covered in chocolate.

So, of course, I got the 99% one! 🍫

I couldn't resist getting the one marked 'Best Seller', could I?

I also grabbed a Matcha Cream Cheese Cornet. 🍡

My mom likes soboro bread, so I added a Soboro Salt Bread to the mix. πŸ‘΅

I saw reviews saying that the Castella Salt Bread sells out quickly.

There were plenty, so I grabbed one more.

They have so many other kinds of bread too!

I wanted to buy so much more, but I held back. 😭

So, I bought these 4! πŸ›οΈ

Box packaging is available for 4 or more items.

If you want to get them home without them getting squished, box packaging is a must! πŸ‘

Packaging takes a little time.

You get a waiting number and wait for about 2-3 minutes.

And then they package them up so nicely! ✨

I got home, ate dinner, and immediately opened it up.

The box is pretty too.

Thankfully, they arrived intact! 😊

As a chocolate lover, I was most curious about the chocolate cornet. πŸ˜‹

The 99% Valrhona Chocolate Cornet...

Didn't have chocolate at the very end, but there was so much chocolate at the bottom that I could just dip it in!

The bread had a rich buttery flavor and the chocolate was a high-quality chocolate...

It was β‚©6,800, but worth every penny.

The Castella Salt Bread...

Is filled with cream on the inside and coated with castella powder on the outside.

You know those long, stick-shaped breads with cream inside and powder on the outside?

It's a similar feeling!

It's β‚©5,800, but I don't think it was quite worth that much.

I couldn't eat the Matcha Cream Cheese Cornet because I was full.

I left it out at room temperature until the next evening and it didn't seem right to eat it.

It was β‚©7,300, but I had to throw it away without even tasting it... 😭

It feels like such a waste now...

I wasted the price of a bowl of gukbap! πŸ’Έ

All bread should be consumed on the same day, and if storing for more than a day, keep it in the freezer.

They say that you can heat up the bread in the oven, excluding the cream-filled ones.

But I bought all cream-filled ones! Haha

Next time, I'll try the original salt bread and the pollack roe (myeongran) salt bread! ❀️

I recommend The Hyundai's August pop-up!

PS Coffee & Bakery! πŸ‘
