A Fun Day at Bugs Manga Cafe in Singa-dong: A Parent's Review

We visited our child's favorite manga cafe and had a blast! :)
Out of all the manga cafes I've been to, Bugs Manga Cafe in Singa-dong is the cleanest and best maintained.
This is my honest, personal review. I paid for everything myself.
Located at: 5th floor, 1014-4, Singa-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju
Hours: 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Parking: Available at Bogwang Sauna Parking Lot
Here's a breakdown of the prices:
1 hour: ₩3,000
3 hours: ₩9,000
Additional ₩500 for every 10 minutes exceeding the chosen plan
All-day pass: ₩15,000
Isn't that affordable?!
I've been to several manga cafes, but this one is the cheapest, cleanest, and has a great selection of books.
Note that you can't change your time plan once you've started.
You can park at the Bogwang Sauna in Singa-dong, and they provide free parking for up to 4 hours and 30 minutes.
(Overtime: ₩1,000 per 10 minutes)
Don't forget to enter your car number at the counter when you leave.
The entrance to the manga cafe is right when you get off the elevator.
Store your shoes and change into slippers.
Leave your shoe locker key at the counter, and pick it up when you leave.
Enjoy Bugs!
I've seen places with blankets, but this is the first place I've seen with massage chairs and fans! lol
They have different types of massage chairs, including neck and leg massagers!
They also have a wide variety of board games.
They have Playstation rooms (maximum use of 2 hours).
Time flies by...????
They also offer OTT (Over-the-Top) rooms with Netflix, etc.
Plus cozy attic spaces.
Each space is separated for comfortable use.
Even if the rooms are full, don't worry!
They have plenty of comfortable spaces to relax in, no matter where you are.
Their manga collection is HUGE!
From romance and action to horror and mature comics...
They have a great variety of manga that will definitely help you enjoy your healing time.
The only downside is that there weren't many educational manga, like "Seol Min-seok's Korean History," which my child enjoys.
But he said he's old enough now and read something else, so it wasn't a big deal.
You can search for books here.
Bugs Manga Cafe is mostly self-service.
You can order here or at the counter.
Use the microwave, instant ramen machine, etc., for self-cooking.
They have dishes like fried rice, hot dogs, and *sotteok-sotteok* (sausage and rice cake skewers), which are frozen and can be microwaved.
You can also cook your own ramen.
They also sell simple snacks.
They have arcade games,
baseball games, a mini billiards table, and a ping pong table,
so you won't get bored even if you stay all day!
With an all-day pass for ₩15,000, you can have fun without breaking the bank.
They're running a Naver review event where you get free *sotteok-sotteok*.
I left a review and got a free snack for my kid! Awesome!
They have my favorite manga,
so it was a healing time for me, as well as fun for the kids!
I hadn't seen the movie yet,
but they had the entire "Zombie Daughter" manga series, so I read it all.
I laughed and almost cried...
It was a sad story.
Anyway, I enjoyed it.
They even have a baby chair for families! What a class act!!
