A First Outing with My 5-Month-Old: Walkerhill's 'Lounge of Light'

Hello!
It feels like just yesterday he was born, but our little Toseul has already passed his 150th day! I'm his dad.
Lately, our son Toseul has been showing a lot more curiosity about the world.
I could see he was getting restless just staying at home, so I wanted to take him somewhere new and show him some different scenery this weekend.
I was looking for a place that was close to home, had a great view, and ideally, was also comfortable for us parents.
After searching for a place that met all these picky conditions, we discovered 'Lounge of Light' at the Walkerhill and decided to go!
In short, our visit with the baby was a huge success!
The Lounge of Light, with its stunning Han River view and pleasant atmosphere, is located in the lobby of the Grand Walkerhill Seoul hotel.
As soon as we walked in, the unobstructed view of the Han River and Achasan Mountain through the large windows was truly like a 'painting'.
My wife and I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow..."
The fact that it's a 'hotel' was a major advantage for us with a baby.
They have excellent facilities like a baby lounge and diaper changing stations, so we didn't have to worry about anything before going out. That was really comforting.
We ordered the Golden Ade and Mango Fruit Ade.
To be honest, the taste was exactly what you would imagine from the names.
It wasn't anything particularly special, but it was refreshing and sweet enough to lift our spirits.
The prices are a bit high, as you'd expect from a hotel cafe.
But when I thought of it as paying for the 'atmosphere' to enjoy this wonderful view and relaxing ambiance, I didn't feel like the money was wasted at all.
Sometimes, this kind of splurge is what keeps us going with childcare! 😉
How did Toseul, the star of the day, react?
Throughout our time there, our son Toseul sat in his stroller and couldn't take his eyes off the view outside the window.
What was he thinking as he watched the shimmering sunlight on the Han River and the cars going back and forth on Gangbyeonbuk-ro?
Seeing him taking in the world with his little eyes, I thought, "It was definitely worth coming here."
He was so focused that he quickly got tired and started yawning, so we didn't stay long and left.
Everything is a new stimulus and experience for babies.
Although the price may be a bit of a burden, I think it's a great choice for parents who want to show their baby a new view or who want to enjoy a moment of relaxation in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
Our first lounge date with 150-day-old Toseul was a real success!
When Toseul is a little older, I'd like to come back and see the beautiful sunset in the evening.
