Today is August 15th, Liberation Day ~
It was a day to commemorate our independence, and it felt deeply moving.

It's a precious day with a long weekend!
On a day like this ~
I woke up early as usual
And started my day.
After having breakfast with my parents
And doing some housework,
As lunchtime approached,
I headed out to enjoy some personal time.
The moment I left the house!
It started to rain.
I took down the Korean flag I had hung on the gate and put it back in the storage box,
And then I went out.
However, since the entire Gwanghwamun area was closed off,
Joy, who lives in Bukchon, thought
That getting out of the house wouldn't be easy today either,
So I decided to try driving first.
Regretting the weakness of my Meduse sandals, I put on my Melissa sandals and left the house.
Maybe I'll leave a review of the Melissa sandals later when I have time.
The place I'm going to today is ~
Vesess Bakery, the latest hot spot in Huam-dong!
The moment I arrived at my destination!
Oh, they're closing the shutters.
Why, why ~!
Despite the business hours being from
Early morning 08:00 - 15:00!
The store is closing its shutters before 12:00!
The reason is that
Many people visited this place to celebrate the holiday!
They ran out of ingredients early ~
Sandwiches, focaccia, sourdough,
Coffee & Beer
A place that has everything I like!
The owner apologized and said that
They will be open without holidays this month,
Asking me to visit again.
However, the air conditioner installer is scheduled to revisit early Saturday morning,
So I couldn't guarantee that I could come again.

Since I've come this far,
It's a bit of a shame to just go back,
So I decided to move on to another place.

It's about a 12-minute walk from Vesess Bakery,

After parking the car appropriately,
I decided to walk.
Walking up the road to Huam Market ~
Wow~ I'm curiously looking around, thinking,
Can you believe there's a place like this in downtown Seoul?

If you go up towards Namsan Sowol Road from Huam Market,
You can find this place!
Oh! An familiar sign that can be seen from afar!

Isn't this Otto Kimbap, a kimbap restaurant I often use near Seoul National University of Education Station?

The entrance stairs leading up to the store are impressive.
A Korean chime bell hung on a wooden gate!
I think it would be a gorgeous place for foreign tourists traveling to Korea.
A space where Korean and exotic feelings are mixed and matched!
However, you have to use
A different place than this entrance.
The entrance is located on the side entering the alley.
I remember this place being a bar in the past,
Or am I wrong?
I'm only now realizing that there was a Hanok here.
When you come inside, it feels like this!

Wow~ what is this atmosphere!
It's like Korean but not ~
When viewed from the outside,
It feels like Santorini in Korea.

They were enjoying kimbap while watching Pocket 3, which I've been interested in recently.

It seems like there's a bathroom inside,
But I didn't go there separately.
There are no separate people to guide you in the store,
So you can use the space on your own.

It's perfect for foreign tourists who like K-culture!

So today I ordered Wasabi Kimbap!

Kimbap eaten in this atmosphere is truly the best ~!
I'll have to have a simple meal here when I visit Huam-dong in the future.
And Jaki Love, an LP cafe in Huam-dong, was worth the wait!
The lemon scent was so good and
It was delicious
The granita I ordered!
A place where you can fully appreciate the music!
I'll have to visit next time with a little more time.
