As you stroll through the quiet village roads of Yeongsan-myeon in Changnyeong, you will naturally encounter a delightful space.
This charming place is called "Cafe Gui-Chon," which beautifully embodies the meaning of 'the unpretentious lifestyle of precious people.'
The signature coffee here is not only delicious but also very popular, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers to Changnyeong.
The rustic countryside ambiance is felt right from the entrance. Cafe Gui-Chon is located on the second floor.
As you ascend to the second floor, you are greeted by the cafe's slogan! The way they elegantly interpret the word 'Gui-Chon' truly showcases the owner's sense of style.
Upon entering, you immediately feel the warm air. The interior, filled with sunlight, is quite beautiful.
Cafe Gui-Chon is maintained in a clean open kitchen style, which gives you confidence while waiting for your drinks. The owner is also very friendly and prepares your order quickly.
The menu is well-rounded, featuring everything from coffee to non-coffee options, including babyccinos for kids. We ordered the signature items: Cream Latte and Gui-Chon Siphon.
A large wooden table in one corner is perfect for several people to gather and chat while taking a break.
The seats by the window allow you to enjoy the peaceful scenery of Yeongsan-myeon. Just gazing outside is a form of healing.
Scattered cute decorations catch your eye, inviting you to pause and take a look. There is also a self-serve bar on one side.
Cafe Gui-Chon has already gained a reputation and is featured in magazines on the tables. It is particularly famous for its 'Agricultural Tool Hospital' view!
For kids, there are colorful pens and coloring books, so you can enjoy a babyccino while coloring, keeping them entertained.
Near the entrance, there is a spot where you can sit and enjoy the view of the Agricultural Tool Hospital. Seeing the Gui-Chon Siphon poster on the wall makes the taste even more anticipated.
Finally, our ordered Gui-Chon Siphon and Cream Latte arrived. The star of the show, Gui-Chon Siphon, is topped with rich peanut cream, delivering an intense nutty flavor from the very first sip.
Though it may look small, the cream is dense and substantial, allowing you to savor its rich flavor until the last drop.
The Cream Latte is equally popular, with a perfectly sweet cream atop a strong latte. It was one of the best coffees I've had recently, truly deserving of two thumbs up!
