A spring outing in Jeonju filled with flowers and art
The white flower tunnel that has descended upon Jeonju,
where Chagall's dreams meet the path of the Ipam tree blossoms.
A picturesque landscape of white flower tunnels has unfolded in Jeonju.
Walking along the flower path by the railway naturally led to the Chagall exhibition, providing a time to experience both nature and art.
Walking time under the white flower clouds: Jeonju Ipam Tree Festival
After the cherry blossoms, the white flower tunnel along the railway, with Ipam trees blooming like rice, showcased the peak of spring.
The Ipam Tree Festival temporarily opens parts of the Buk Jeonju Line, usually restricted, and this year's festival runs until May 3.

At the site, families, couples, and friends gathered, taking photos under the white flowers and enjoying their own spring.
Additionally, food stalls and experience booths were operating, enriching the festive atmosphere.
After enjoying the Ipam Tree Festival, we moved to the nearby Palbok Art Factory.
Palbok-dong in Jeonju has transformed from an industrial area into a cultural and artistic complex. The Palbok Art Factory, which has repurposed a former factory into a cultural space, hosts various exhibitions and cultural programs.
Currently, a special exhibition of Marc Chagall is underway. This exhibition, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Jeonju Cultural Foundation, is the largest Chagall exhibition in Korea, featuring around 350 works.

Understanding Chagall's World with a Docent
The exhibition can be viewed by following the yellow and blue paths, allowing for a deeper understanding of around 350 works through docent explanations.
Before the docent tour, visitors could spend time in the Chagall printmaking experience area and feel the exhibition atmosphere at the photo zone.
In the following 40-minute docent explanation, the world of Chagall's works was understood through three themes: 'Color', 'Love', and 'Popularization of Art'.
Chagall used color as a tool to convey emotions and memories, symbolically expressing love through scenes that transcend reality.
He aimed to share art with many people in various spaces and methods. After hearing the docent's explanation, I began to notice elements in the artworks that I had not seen before.
Especially impressive was the 'collage technique' used in several works, making it fun to find which pieces utilized this method.
This exhibition was more than just viewing; it combined experience, explanation, and exploration, making it even more enjoyable.
If the Ipam tree was a visual delight of spring, the Chagall exhibition was a time that warmed the heart through emotions and atmosphere.
This meaningful experience of enjoying both nature and art will remain memorable. I recommend this course during the remaining festival period in Jeonju.
