Mino's been making me dinner every night after work. So delicious!

Back to work again. Driving every day.

It's summer vacation, but the traffic wasn't bad. I was happy to get to work in just 35 minutes this week.

Delicious curry!

Bright Future

Someone's waiting for dinner.

One day, we went out for pork belly.

We were on our way to eat frozen pork belly, but we took a detour and tried a new Korean BBQ place.

The pork jowl was decent, at least.

I'm definitely more about quality over quantity. (Next time, I'm going to the frozen pork belly place without hesitation!)

Valuable Experience

Mino made boiled pork (Suyuk)!

He came home from work and made radish kimchi, stew, and Suyuk in just an hour. Such an amazing man! It was so delicious. I love Suyuk!

Mino's boss gifted us some makgeolli (Korean rice wine).

Beautiful Scenery

Seoul Wolmae Makgeolli (?) It's pretty good!

The next day, I was craving ramen, but we only had one pack left.

So, I made ramen and added my bacon and scrambled eggs.

We even had fried rice made with the leftover braised spicy monkfish. A varied (?) and delicious meal!

Warm Memories

Buying coffee and heading out!

Where are we going?

Stopped by my mom's relative's newly opened goat meat soup restaurant to chat.

Packed up some goat meat soup to go.

Touching Scene

Arrived at my grandma's house!

A table full of Grandma's side dishes and the restaurant's takeout.

Ate so well! It was my first time trying black goat soup, and it was pretty good.

The pumpkin vines have taken over Grandma's yard.

Peaceful Scenery

Got some pumpkin leaves and trimmed them.

I wanted to steam and wrap them for dinner, but I'll trim them and take them home.

I gave Grandma the book of poems written by my father-in-law.

Suddenly, Grandma's reading it intensely even while lying down! LOL So funny!

Special Moment

Is she really reading... or just pretending...?

The next morning, Mino and I took a walk around the neighborhood.

Visited my old elementary school for the first time in a while.

When I think of the rose of Sharon (mugunghwa), I remember stopping my bike in front of the school and picking the pistils to play with.

Hopeful Tomorrow

This was the auditorium.

The path to the cafeteria.

The giraffe statue and the reading girl statue are still there.

I was so scared of the rumors that the statues would change at night.

Take care!

Interesting Image

Took a picture of the stationery store and the oil shop in front of the school.

Country couple;

Our neighborhood.

Went for a walk and then had breakfast.

Special Moment

Ate the leftover goat meat soup again.

After breakfast, we went to a cafe somewhere in Nonsan.

A cafe and restaurant with a view of Topjeong Reservoir and a well-kept garden.

Took a picture of the three of us.

Precious Memory

Took a picture with Grandma.

Keeping lots of memories.

I heard they give you a ton of salad here?!?!?!?!

They had a family set (?) so we had lunch here and then took Grandma home and went back to our place.

Interesting Image

I can't remember the name of this restaurant, please leave a comment if you know.

I was craving Tteokbokki, so I ordered it even though it was Sunday.

But I got the mildest flavor. I think it was called 'Kind' or 'Beginner' but it was tasty anyway!

Beautiful Scenery

While eating Tteokbokki, I was watching the show "I am Solo", and they ate Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles), so I ended up ordering Jajangmyeon too!

From that day on, my hormones seemed to be kicking in again.

Sunday night ended with a carb party... hehehe

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
