This is a paid-for-by-me review!

It's known as the 'Threads Market'.

Thanks to the enthusiastic promotion by small business owners on Threads, some hidden gems have become quite famous.

One of the most noteworthy is the seafood section at Lucky Mart Yeokbuk Branch. These days, I either go to Costco or here when I want to buy sashimi.

For affordable sashimi, Seoul has Noryangjin and Garak Fish Markets, Pohang has Jukdo Market, Seongnam has Moran Market, and Busan has Jagalchi Market, right?

Now, even without a dedicated fish market, Yongin has Lucky Mart!!

Go to the corner on the opposite side of the entrance, and the section manager will greet you warmly, asking if you came because of Threads.

It's famous for offering services like spicy fish stew (Maeuntang), cold raw fish soup (Mulhoe), and boiled seafood when you buy a large assorted sashimi platter for 40,000 won or more.

They always have salmon and flounder (Dore), and in late summer to early fall, they also have a wide selection of other seafood such as flatfish (Gwang-eo), Autumn Seabream (Jeon-eo), and red shrimp sashimi.

Besides those, they also have boiled scallops, cuttlefish sashimi, pufferfish skin, surf clam soup, and cockle salad.

I bought day-old Autumn Seabream (Jeon-eo) and freshly caught mackerel (Godeungeo).

흥미로운 이미지

The mackerel was very fresh and delicious!

Not fishy at all and tasted so oily, which means the quality was well-managed!

It paired very well with white wine.

As for the Autumn Seabream (Jeon-eo)... the section manager clearly warned me that it was a day old, but I didn't fully grasp the implications of 'day-old sashimi' and bought it because of the cheaper price...

환상적인 장면

Yes... I came to understand the meaning of that warning...ㅠㅠ

I ate it with Gewürztraminer.

즐거운 순간

When I had the same variety before, I thought it paired well with seafood.

멋진 사진

This time, the She It's Gewürztraminer, which didn't seem to be oak-aged, couldn't cover up the day-old sashimi.

감동적인 장면

It was somewhat edible with lemon juice and without wine.

따뜻한 추억

The mackerel was just fantastic.

아름다운 풍경

And the cold raw fish soup (Mulhoe) and spicy fish stew (Maeuntang) that the section manager gave as a special service!

꿈같은 순간

You can enjoy the cold raw fish soup (Mulhoe) just by mixing the ingredients they give you, but it's even more delicious if you boil some thin noodles (Somen) and add them.

행복한 시간

The spicy fish stew (Maeuntang) was given as a service just for the broth, but there was a good amount of fish meat in it too.

따뜻한 추억

Add ramen noodles, anchovy broth, MSG, chili powder, etc., to your liking.

To get to Lucky Mart Yeokbuk Branch, which is famous for its seafood section, it's quite a walk from Myongji University Station.

It's a 15-minute walk from Gimnyangjang Station.

따뜻한 추억

It's recommended to drive there if you have a car because there's plenty of parking.

희망찬 내일 값진 경험 꿈같은 순간 신비로운 모습 멋진 사진 아름다운 풍경 밝은 미래 특별한 순간
