Following our first meeting with each other's families, we started looking at wedding halls. This is a record of our wedding hall tour in Gyeongju!

Actually, both our families had already given their permission for us to marry even before our first formal introductions.

Still, since there was a formal meeting,

I was a little worried, thinking, 'What if they don't like me...?'

Thankfully, both families approved of us without any issues.

They even told us to set a wedding date quickly! Hehe ☺️

So, the wedding hall tour began!

We decided to choose a venue based on available dates, and

visited several wedding halls in Gyeongju.

1️⃣ Hilton Hotel Gyeongju

Since this was my first time preparing for a wedding, I didn't really know where to start.

I thought, "I'll get a sense of things if I get a consultation~" so I called and visited immediately!

But when I actually listened to the consultation, I didn't understand anything at first,,

However, after visiting other places and searching for reviews,

I started to get a grasp of things little by little.

The consultation at the Hilton was also brief.

Because I didn't know much and didn't have anything to ask...

I only asked about available dates in 2025, the meal costs, and the capacity.

Then, we looked around the hall itself.

There wasn't a wedding on that day, so the venue felt quite empty,

and overall, it was very spacious but had a slightly dark atmosphere.

Still, the name 'Hilton' definitely gave it a

luxurious and classic feel ✨

2️⃣ BlueOne (Currently Gangdong Resort Wedding)

My friend and younger sibling both had their weddings here,

and I was impressed by the bright and cheerful atmosphere and especially the 'delicious food'.

So, I initially wanted to have my wedding at BlueOne too 🙂

The consultation was also very kind and helpful, but

one drawback was that there were somewhat few guest seats.

Both of us are the second children to get married in our families, so we won't have a huge number of guests,

but it seemed like there wouldn't be enough seats for everyone to sit comfortably.

Also, I heard that the catering company changed when the resort name changed,

and there were rumors that the food wasn't as good as before.

Its location inside Bomun Lake Resort was also a bit inconvenient.

3️⃣ Lahan Hotel (Lahan Select Gyeongju)

The last place we visited was Lahan Hotel, now Lahan Select Gyeongju!

This place had a very clean and sophisticated atmosphere overall ✨

The hall had just the right amount of lighting, not too dark and not too bright,

giving it a 'just pretty' feel.

Maybe because we had just seen BlueOne, the hall seemed even bigger,

so I was a little worried that it might look empty if there weren't many guests.

The downside is that there's no separate bridal waiting room.

This was actually a big concern for me,,,

But since it seemed to make up for the shortcomings of the Hilton and BlueOne,

we ultimately decided on Lahan Select Gyeongju 🙂

🙂 In summary:

Hilton Hotel: Luxurious but somewhat dark atmosphere

BlueOne: Bright and cheerful, but seat, location, and food concerns

Lahan Select: Clean and well-balanced hall, but no bridal waiting room

In the end, our couple chose Lahan Select Gyeongju!

We decided on it because it was good for welcoming guests comfortably, and

we liked the overall atmosphere.

At first, I didn't know anything and felt overwhelmed,

but after visiting the halls in person, each wedding hall had a completely different charm.

I think the process of experiencing those differences was quite enjoyable.

Now I really feel like the wedding preparations are beginning. 🙂✨
