A Week of Food, Family, and Fun!

My cousins (my aunt's husband and wife) from the US came to visit, so last week was all about eating well and having fun before I have to wear a dress this week!
Sunday
My dad bought me Ansse Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). ???? The price has gone up so much, and now it's mostly foreigners there, which is a little sad, but it's still so delicious.
Tuesday
Trying to use up my plain yogurt stash, so I made overnight oats with frozen blueberries, granola toppings, and matcha. Surprisingly, both were delicious! Just not enough for a big eater like me... I've been obsessed with overnight oats ever since I had them at Black Rumor. ????????
Wednesday
A sample I stole(?) from Sononim. This was surprisingly good too! The texture is the best among similar brands I've tried recently.
Friday
A family gathering with my brother! ???? I rushed out of work on Friday, ditching my flash, and it was so much fun. We connected way better than I expected. Family is family, even when they live far away. I paid for the second round. ???? Introducing Yuksyeok Halmae (cheap beer pub) to two Americans... But it was so loud.
Saturday
Went to Bukbuk (Korean restaurant) for a hangover cure (sort of). Bukbuk is still delicious and hasn't lost its touch. The basket for moving to the annex is so cute! ???? Our 'polar bear' carrying it is even cuter, sigh.
Sunday
And Sunday was Yoon's wedding!
I'll write a separate post about the wedding, but in short, it was very touching.
And I discovered an unexpected friend from work, so we ended up drinking Makgeolli at Cheonggyecheon until late, reminiscing about our school days... Another fulfilling and exciting week comes to an end! ????️
